Great budget video card
My video card was messing up, can't handle the 4K streams, when I would watch a movie or YT video the video would go out of sync and slow down. Sense I installed I've not had a problem sense. Videos play great and games look and play better. If you don't have a lot of money to spend this is a good one to look at.

My son loved it!
My son is running games with this. He wanted to pay for his own card, and he had a 100 bucks. He paid for it, and I helped him to install it. It runs decently, Fortnite, CSGO, and Valorant. He is satisfied. Yes there are other great cards out there, but way more expensive, and this is what he could afford. I am proud, and he is content. Win win.

Was a deal when it was around $50 in 2020
Was good for the money when I bought it over a year ago, but probably way too much now with the GPU(video card) price gouging due to the shortage and crypto mining craze.

Great Radeon card for casual gaming
I didn't want to spend a lot but wanted to be able to play games at higher quality levels, with more detail. Purchased this card to get into the Radeon RX family and glad I did. This performs beyond expectations - will buy again for another computer.

Super easy install fit into my go pavilion p6 and now I cam play newer games
Clipped this and 2 memory sticks in to my 10 yr old computer so I can play games like 7 days to die . worked like a charm on my hp pavilion p6 series. With some tweaking saves me hundreds on not having to buy a new computer

Didn't work for a full month
Purchased this on Feb 18th and 3 weeks later the fan isn't running and it doesn't work.

windows 8.1 no longer supported by AMD - found a windows 7 driver that seems to be working.
Found a blog suggesting trying out this driver:"win7-64bit-radeon-software-adrenalin-edition-17.12.1-dec11.exe" but downloads were extremely slow from sites I found that had it.I found this driver on the AMD website, much safer anyway, "Win7-64Bit-Radeon-Software-Adrenalin-Edition-17.12.2-Dec19" and it seems to be working - no issues so far. Aside from surfing and watching some youtube, I am using the RX 550's hardware VCE encoding feature successfully for transcoding video. Thought this info might help someone out.
