My dad loves to ride bikes, but as a disabled senior citizen, he has difficulty riding long distances comfortably. He spent a lot of time walking his last bike up hills, which lessened his enjoyment. We got rid of that bike last year because it was rusting through. I wanted to replace it with a pedal-assist model for Father’s Day, but the prices made me nearly faint. I found this one but hesitated for months: not a brand I know; not many reviews that sounded good; not many good reviews of bikes in general at this price point. Given my father’s age and usage level, though, I decided to take the plunge and get it.Virus-related shipping delays meant that I had to print a picture of it and glue it into a makeshift card, but Dad was thrilled by the prospect of riding again. When the bike came, I was tasked with assembling it, and as I am by no means mechanically-inclined, I did more than my fair share of cursing and spitting as I worked on it. It took me days to get the brakes right, and I felt bad for him that I’d bought this gift he couldn’t use. I gave it one last shot, grabbed a wrench and gave it a go—and got it. I put the key in, turned the bike on and tried it out. Wow! I was flying along our street. I actually wondered if it were too powerful for him!When Dad got on, he was a little nervous, just because things were different. He soon got the hang of it, though, and when he did, he took off. He rides every single morning now and loves that he has help going up hills. He jokes that he has a little motorcycle, just because it’s got some speed to it.I don’t know how ebike purists or hardcore bikers would rate this cycle, but Dad loves it, and that’s all that matters to me. It’s easy to operate, powerful, highly adjustable and—bonus—looks great. I’m glad I got it for him.

This was my 3rd attempt at purchasing an ebike and this is the one I settled on. It's a heavy bike, but works as promised. It gets me from the middle of the Salt Lake Valley up to work in the benches of the mountains without any problems. I wouldn't give this a full 5 stars for the following reasons:* The basket it comes with is metal wireframe and the holes don't quite match up to the bracket it is supposed to attach to. And once I gerry-rig into place it is noisey and rattles like crazy, so I left it off.* The front fender slides to the side with hitting a bump on a corner, and then it rums into the tire. After a few occurrences of this I opted to go without that.* The Peddle Assist Sensor (PAS) was broken. I sent a picture of the sensor to BestDrive (the seller) and they sent a replacement a few weeks later. Since the bike can operate in full e-bike mode or in PAS mode, I just switched to the eBike mode until the replacement sensor arrived. The sensor wasn't difficult to replace but I had to get a special pedal crank removal tool ($10 at the local REI store).* The type of stand it comes with isn't very secure and rolls of the stand with the slightest forward push (it's the same style "Father Brown" uses in that Netflix series :-). After six months the kick-stand no longer locks into place so I'll probably take it off and replace with a more traditional style kick-stand.I notice that this bike is not longer sold from this vendor, but Natco (the manufacturer) does have it's own website that sells several styles and sizes of eBikes if anyone wants to see other offerings from this brand. For the price it's really not a bad bike, but like with other eBikes I've ordered online, be prepared to have the bike tuned up after you get it - it seems the gear shifting is always a bit off when they are shipped to you.Update to my review (Sept 2018): While parked, a car bumped the side of the bike which bent the spindle in the bottom bracket assembly. After the local bike shop couldn't fix it, I contracted the US distributor in Chino CA and they were very responsive and quickly sold me the replacement part ($20 including delivery). They are awesome and I would highly recommend this product.

We ordered two bikes, price was good for these ebike, Wife loves her bike . We ride them almost every day, A bit heavy , frame is made very well. easy to assemble, will take about 4 hours to charge battery. we took a 15 mile trip the other day and still had power left for riding. We are Happy with our purchase , I fell we saved some money getting these . Other ebikes cost twice as much.

We bought the bike to go further distances. We live on a slight hill and you have to go up to the main road. It’s easy for the bike to manage the hill. We bought two bikes and have had so much fun with them. We usually use peddle assist so that you peddle some and then it kicks in. We had a problem the first week in that it kept popping fuses. They were prompt to send a new battery and shipping to send the old one back. Any issues we have had they addressed easily. We’d buy it again!

Ordered for my hubby. He absolutely loves it. It was easy to assemble, and preforms better than expected. The matte black is really nice. basket came two weeks later, but hubby didn't want the basket anyway. The holder on the frame holds the bike chain and lock, which was a really nice feature. Frame is sturdy and well built, should last a long time. Great bike at a good price, fast shipping too.
