Q: One of the sling loops that the hook attached to frayed and came loose. I’ve only used it a couple on months. Could I get a replacement?

Q: Can this bag stand alone?

If you are asking if the bag can literally stand, no. It falls over. It does hang on the back of chairs etc.

Q: Does this bag have a hanging loop near the top? Not just the strap, but a separate loop for hanging up...?

This bag does not have a hanging loop so you would have to hang the bag by the strap. The bag is lightweight with lots of room so you can carry all you need for a day. I bought mine because there are rings on both sides at the bottom of the bag that allows you to move the strap and sling it over either shoulder.
