Simple, inexpensive and functional shower head. I like that the openings are rubber to help avoid build up and maintain the water pressure.

I love the sleek style. It fits in very well in my small shower and is a pleasure to use. The installation was quick and easy.

I came across NearMoon about 5 years ago. Since then, I've bought two (or three) additional shower heads as gifts for friends or because I moved and left the prior one behind. They continue to be solid shower heads, great pressure, no rust, no leaking, no malfunctions. I love them and so do my gift recipients.

This shower head is a great value. It does have better pressure than most other rain heads, it can be used on the standard short 45 degree arm without losing flow from the uphill nozzles (I’ve tried half a dozen different ones and almost all of them lose flow from nearly half of the nozzles and negate the point of a large diameter).That said, this is NOT a true rain head. I suspect that’s why it’s able to be used at the 45 degree angle while other rain heads are not. The nozzles put out a very thin water stream like what you would find in a typical cheap compact or handheld head. So essentially it’s more of a hybrid with the water stream of a handheld but the coverage of a rain head. My fiancé absolutely LOVED this thing, he’s 6’4” and this is the first shower head that’s given him decent full body coverage.Unfortunately this head didn’t have enough oomph to rinse long hair in anything less than an eternity. I say oomph and not pressure, because some of the rain heads we tried that were lower pressure ended up rinsing my hair much better because of the thicker streams of water found in a real rain head. The thicker water streams also feel much nicer on the skin.Also, a big difference I noticed between this shower head and every other one I’ve ever used is temperature. I take hot showers and am always warm with the steam when I step out of the water to lather up, but this shower head never heated the air in the shower well so I was constantly turning the water temp up throughout a 20 min shower. It was so bad I thought maybe it was something to do with the bathroom in our new house being poorly insulated! But as soon as we switched shower heads the problem went away. I haven’t needed to adjust the temp more than once during a shower, if at all, with any of the others we’ve tried in the same bathroom.Lots of minor to moderate annoyances, but if you want broad coverage without having to change out a standard shower arm or use an extension this really is a great shower head. I’m determined enough that we’re attempting to change out the shower arm next to work with a real rain head, but if that doesn’t work out this is still on my radar as a vetted backup plan.

Great shower head - EZ install -Impressed they include a small wrench, and teflon tape.Also provide an extra screen washer and some extra small nozzles.Seems well made and provides a nice wide rain like shower.

I replaced a comparable Moen shower head with this one a couple of weeks ago. The Moen leaked profusely from the top edge from day 1, but getting a warranty replacement was impractical due to it having been purchased by my remodeling contractor, with whom I severed all ties as soon as the project was complete enough to do so. What an idiot he was. Anyway, I digress. Leaky waterfall-y showers became the norm and life was good. Getting motivated to replace the shower head was difficult because the prices on name brand products are so high. I decided to take a chance on this one, if only to buy some time for me to repair the Moen with some JB Weld. Simple installation given that it came with all tools necessary to do the job, and it was leak-free from the get-go. Now that the NearMoon is in place, I’m asking Why did I wait so long?!!! This thing is excellent. Very solid and sturdy, beautifully finished, producing a luxurious drenching rain, with zero drips after the water is turned off. This is truly transformative for my shower in the best possible way. Note that the flow is not restricted in this high pressure model. I have been using about 1/5 of the control valve’s range so I don’t run through my hot water. If your valve is just off/on and you have a lot of water pressure, you might be left looking for a way to limit the flow to preserve your hot water. This thing flows like nobody’s business. But with the valve setup I’ve got, I’m really enjoying this thing. Now I need some motivation to repair the Moen. Probably not going to happen.

The media could not be loaded.  Super simple upgrade! Bought the 12in round shower head for Cyber Monday. It arrived this morning and I installed right away. Would have been quicker but I also swapped my shower arm which was also a super easy job. Took all but 10 minutes to do both and I’m so happy with the results. It certainly looks way more expensive than it was. Not only that, it works well and you can swivel and adjust the angle of the head.The product comes with everything you need to install. Including Teflon tape even though the manual states it’s not necessary due to their gasket. I used some anyways, can’t hurt! No tools necessary and I would even advise against to avoid marring the finish. It also comes with an extra gasket and a few replacement nozzles. Speaking of nozzles, I’ve noticed they are slightly longer which prevents water from getting on the shower head itself which will help immensely with keeping the shower head free of calcium buildup and looking new! It’s a nice touch IMO!
