The Antler Box Premium Elk Antler Dog Chews (1 Pound Box) (Medium (4 Pieces) Split Only)

Very disappointing.Only 1 & 1/2 antlers in the very small box.
1 and 1/2 antlers were in the beautiful box. The Amazon picture shows a box surrounded by numerous antlers. I have 5 dogs. I thought I was ordering “a box of antlers”, not 1 and 1/2 antlers in a box. The picture is misleading and for that I do not recommend this seller or this product. I’m not interested in a nice box for my dogs I expected at least 5-6 antlers

Glad I decided to try the antler approach.
I've got a Rottweiler pup (1yr old) that is THE definition of a power chewer. My other dogs like(d) to chew, but my rottie girl tore apart their Kong Exteme XXL like it was an apple.I've wasted money on 'indestructible' dog toys, and finally started to read up on antlers. I read that elk antlers are superior to deer, so I decided to try them. The Antler Box was the highest rated, and claimed their large antlers were larger than other brands.Unfortunately, the picture I took of the 3 delivered to me, was deleted from my phone somehow, but as posted, it came with a split antler, and 2 whole. All 3 were 8"+, and came in their signature black box. Unfortunately, one of the antlers was very skinny (roughly as dense as a thumb) while the other one was exactly what expected (similar to a child's forearm) and the split antler was a decent size.It took her a while to get down to business, as the whole antler truly is odorless. I got her to lick the marrow (center) of the split one, and now she's a fan. She had the split antler gone in a few days, and the smaller (thumb thickness) one in about 5 days. She is currently working on the largest one, which I think will last a couple weeks, perhaps longer. If I wouldn't had received the tiny (density wise) antler, this is a 5 star purchase all day... The quality is there for sure. I will probably purchase again, and hopefully get 3 large ones.

Beat value and great for power-chewer working breeds
My 1.5 year old working-breed Belgian Malinois is a power chewer, and it’s difficult to find toys and chew treats that last him as long as promised. In under an hour, he can finish off toys meant to last him weeks. It has been an expensive and frustrating search. This guy can go through an XL bone very quickly, which is not only messy, sticky, and smelly, but worrisome for his health.I’m so glad I tried the antler approach. They are a little expensive, but well worth it if you have an aggressive chewer like mine. Not only are they durable, but they are cleaner and odorless. My Malinois especially loves the split antler, as he goes nuts for the marrow. These are usually enough to keep my guy occupied for quite a while. I’ve tried single antlers from pet stores, and those are pricier and I’ve had some splinter. These from Antler Box are of much higher quality. I get the XL size for my Malinois, and it comes with two antlers for the same price I would pay for a lower quality antler from the pet store. I also appreciate the attractive packaging. I’ll definitely be trying these again.

Value in presentation is wasted
The antlers were shipped in a premium, nice looking box with wood shavings. It looks really nice, and humans, I'm sure appreciate a little style in their presentations. Dogs, I'm sure just prefer the contents. :)And this is where I have a beef with the product (it you'll forgive the pun). The antlers I received were larger than I expected and two of them weren't split, which meant my dog's couldn't really get at the insides - the bits they like.I'm unsure if I made a mistake and ordered the Medium or large, instead of the small, or if the wrong size was shipped. Unfortunately, some time have elapsed and I'm unable to return them. I'm just going to let my dogs be distracted today by trying to chew on these and tomorrow they're going in the trash.I have previously purchased antler chews https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06WW6HSK2/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and were more satisfied with the quality of those, even though the presentation lacked.

Dogs love them! Need morr variety of sizes and cuts though. Great for litter puppy pack-gifts
I want to give these 5 stars so badly but I really need to complain about one thing...First though:The antlers, have given my newest pup something to,crib her, chewing as she is teething and, began turning furniture into chew toys. Gave her one of these and she only chews on antlers now.My package came with a split antler and a full antler. My middle aged dog is 3 and he lobes chew toys still but gave up even attempting to chew the full antler (he is over 100 lbs too) because he couldn't get to the marrow. He ended up stealing the pups and chewed about 1/4 of it before giving up on it too.My elderly dog also liked the pups split antler but gave up on it too... Unfortunately, the marrow part caused her gums to bleed. :(My 3 year old dog became a father on Nov 6th. As part of the puppy pack I made for the pups we get from the litter, as a stud fee, I decided to give out antlers to the new owners to help discourage their pups from chewing... Because I needed to find smaller versions and wanted to buy 3-4 at a time, I ended up going with a different brand. That brand's came in 4-5" split elk antler packs of 3. I ordered 2 packs, so that I could give each pup one and then have some for my dogs too. These ones were split in either 3rds or 4ths... These were a HUGE hit with all 3 of my dogs I have here. My elderly dog's gums did bleed a little still, and my pup's teeth have been coming out as she chews the antler, but she is teething so that is to be expected... The 3 year old dog loves that the marrow is more exposed and he chews for 30 min plus and barely makes a dent but it has definitely stopped the negative chewing and boredom behaviors.I will say though, if all other things were created equally, ie if this brand sold them in packs where there were no whole antlers, the packs came woth 3 split ones that were split either into 3rds or 4ths, and the price were the same, I would choose this brand. The other brand came in a bag you would buy treats in from a box store type pet store. These, came in a really nice box and were displayed nicely in the box. These are great dor gifts and I would have loved to send one of these in a box with each pup but these were not cheap enough to buy in individual packs of 4-5" split antlers and they werent offered at all with all split/no whole, in that size and quantity.I would really love to see this, company offer them in puppy pack-individual pack types where you can buy them with the boxes in bulk (sets of 3 (1 in each of 3 boxes) so that people who breed dogs can buy them for the puppy packs/gifts that go with them. Honestly, this would be an excellent marketing tool as well. If each box came with a coupon off each new owners first order and a business card, every new owner would potentially be a new customer.
