BEST FOR DIAPER RASH!!!
I was an ICU nurse and we used this on patients to protect their skin. My baby had a terrible bleeding diaper rash and this was the ONLY product that healed it. After spending at least $50 on every single diaper rash cream on the market I remembered what we used in the hospital- this amazing spray! I tried triple paste, desitin, butt cream, and every other diaper rash cream. I gave them each a fair try for a few days and the rash was only getting worse. When we started using this spray the rash was gone within 48 hours! And as a bonus- I didn't have diaper rash cream all over my hands/nails all day, and you only have to apply it every other day- which means no hauling diaper rash cream in the diaper bag, to daycare etc. I will never buy diaper cream again!

Skin Saver
I had to have wound-vac adhesive film applied to cover the surgery wound. The film's adhesive is very strong and can tear your skin. The wound-vac film has to be replaced every other day. This skin prep seals the skin and helps to make the adhesive film easier to remove. This skin prep comes in a spray bottle or as a ready to use saturated pad. Cuts down on the pain.

It really works when used per directions
My husband has had a vacuum wound pump for several weeks, with some weeks still to go. The adhesive film that comes with it is all but impossible to remove, to the point of being very difficult even when using top quality film remover. It can be excruciatingly painful to the patient, especially if it is a wound where hair grows adjacent to the wound area. When you have to change the dressing 3 times a week, it can be sheer ongoing torture. This Skin Potectant from Medline is the one that is part of the total package that is to be used with the film that comes with the 3M pump we have. You do have to make sure the skin is dry and clean and free from oil/skin grease. Then you apply a thin coat all over the area that will have the tape or special film and give it time to dry. This is important. The tape or film will stick properly but will come off ever so much easier. Combined with the film remover compound, it is almost a breeze and no pain involved at all. Some reviews complain that the product becomes "hard," that the sprayer won't work after a while, and/or that it is difficult to remove the cap. All of these are true. I don't care. It is a challenge to get the cap off after just a few initial uses, but to me, to decrease my husband's pain level almost to zero, it is worth the effort. Only 4 stars because of the fact that the spray only works a few times and then it still is difficult to get the cap off to use the liquid.

Works fast
The spray is nice to happen and I was also supposed to get the the pads but then I was told Oct 18 is when the pads will arrive instead of like Sept 27 so now Iโm using up the liquid spray so I order different pads that are going to arrive Oct 8 I havenโt checked lately. Free shipping is awesome the only way to make goods feasible, thank you Amazon.

No sting, works great
Works well. Let completely dry, it wonโt take long. I use it before sticking my foam dressings on. It doesnโt sting and my skin doesnโt pull when removing the dressings.

Seems great! Just got it. Also sharing other solutions
I have a problem with raised areas right next to / on the perimeter of the stoma soft moist area. I can never get a seal to cover those areas, seepage within the same day of changing my bag. These areas become an entry point to spread under the seal, so frustrating. I have an ileostomy thus almost ALWAYS liquidity output. The areas are raw & does not heal, as the output enters the area the pain level is 9 or 10, horrific. I just got this product thus far seems very good, will update soon. What makes my situation worse is that the stoma is RIGHT AT THE BELT LINE. As such wearing a belt and trouser & underwear tops continually rubs on it. Some things I have done to mitigate that is wearing soft sweats & very soft stretchy underwear made of very light fabric. The underwear alone has been a great help. Still trying different ones. I share this so others can identify causes of the irritation problem so that you can try the solutions I have found so far. The softest stretchy fabric underwear I found so far is: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08R5Q4RPJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Leaks
This is such a great barrier product BUT EVERY SINGLE bottle leaks the liquid down the sides of the bottle when you spray it. Messy and what a huge waste of the product. They need to replace the bottle or somethingโฆ

It works well!!
When you can't buy any Cavilon barrier spray because it is all on back order, this spray fills in nicely, but doesn't last quite as long as the other.

Protects your skin
Works as described. Spay on before applying a bandage, ensures that bandage will be easier and less painful to remove. I recommend this product.

It works well as a skin protector.
It does the job as a skin barrier but the container leaks when spraying.

Skin care.
Did what I wanted. It was used over very sensitive skin from long bandage use. Allowed skin to heal while still wearing a bandage.
