We build houses and we use these for the door stops.

We are finishing up with a remodel project and the door handles we chose are notorious for putting holes in sheet rock (according to our contractor). They suggested we purchase door stoppers to keep the handles from hitting the walls. The door stoppers did not allow one of our doors to open wide enough so when I found this one on Amazon I thought I’d give it a try. Since it is clear it doesn’t really stand out that much. The walls are new and freshly painted but I wiped them down with alcohol anyway. The instructions mentioned that if the room was on the cool side to heat up the adhesive with a blow dryer. I did hold the blow dryer on the adhesive side for no more than 10 seconds. It stuck down tight and wouldn’t come off.My caution to anyone using these is to make sure you have the exact spot before you touch it to the surface. Clean the surface, heat up the adhesive and make sure you don’t miss. I almost stuck mine to the wrong spot and that would have put me in a spot. My husband and I are planning on changing out the other door stoppers with these.

Perfect size for wall protection. I bought it for my laundry room. No more hitting the wall with my door from a washer machine. Good looking because it's clear.
