INSTANT ACCESS TO THE INSTRUMENT MAKES YOU WANT TO PLAY MORE!
This stand makes the access to the instrument so easy that inspires you to play more. I love it becausemy child who is the actual end user of it needed something to support few of the string instruments and I did not want to spend a fortune on a super fancy expensive stands. I just needed something that will hold the instrument upright, that does not require strapping or nesting in a time consuming manner and this was a great answer to this need. Why I like it:--------------------= because it is sturdy enough to hold well ukulele, mandoliner or banjo= because a young child who respects instruments has ZERO problem to take instrument off of it or put it on without any toppling, or accidents.= because it is so easy to set up - literally took under 5 seconds to snap together after taking out of a nice box it came in.= because it looks good, for that price I did not expect rain forest wood but the material still is fabulously good looking and does not clash with the room décor.= because it is good quality, nicely done!= because the price is really friendly and weather your budget is low or you don't want to invest in more permanent solution or if you need immediately for few instruments and higher end stands would blow your budget .. it is perfect for temporary or permanent solution. This stand really surpassed my expectations and I am intending to buy two or three more as I don't have a need for more expensive ends if my child is perfectly capable to use this kind of stands.FABULOUSLY Wonderful product!

Workmanship issue
This is a great stand for its purpose. It is an attractive stand. I got it as a stand for a Lyre Harp. Fits the Lyre Harp and holds it perfectly.Unfortunately, when it came out of the flat box it was in, the black glued on material was hanging off the stand like an old rubber band. 75% puddled around one of the two pieces, and, detached from several spots on the second piece. I pressed and smoothed the 75% of detached piece back onto the stand and held it there until it seemed to have stuck back on. Pressed the detached spots back on the other side. Gave it a few more minutes of hand clamp pressure. Put the two pieces together. Set the Lyre Harp on it. Thought it was "repaired" . However, this morning, the pieces have pulled away from the body of the stand. It certainly isn't an issue of the black material being cut too small, as once it was pressed back on, it fit the stand piece well. So, obviously, it is an issue of the adhesive not being good. I am unhappy that I am going to have to take it off and re-glue it properly. I expect to recieve a product that is well made and not falling apart when unboxed. Even though, on the review of my Lyre Harp, I mentioned this stand as a stand that would hold a small instrument, I would not recommend buying it, unless you don't mind having to glue it back together yourself.

Tips over super easy
I bought this for my daughters 1/4th size guitar so she would have a nice place to set it and not have it get knocked over. This product is completely worthless for this purpose as it tips over super easy. Certainly don't put an expensive instrument on it, and if you have kids you can just write this off completely.

Doesnt fit ukelele and cheaply made
This stand is cheaply made nor does it fit the ukelele. The ukelele sits on the ground not cradled. To boot it's cheaply made. When trying to assemble it's too tight of a squeeze putting prices together and have to hammer it into place. After getting it into place, I had to take apart to see if it can be adjusted at all since it wasnt cradling the ukulele and one piece broke in half when doing so!Very disappointing!!!!!!

Inexpensive and effective
This is exactly what I needed. It's just two pieces you slide together. It's MDF with a veneer, but I wasn't expecting solid wood for $9. I imagine it could break easily if mistreated or stepped on.It looks good and holds all three sizes of ukulele I have (soprano, concert, and tenor). The tenor just barely fits. I doubt a baritone would.

Compact and portable
Lightweight, comes apart and lies flat for transport. Fits a ukulele or fiddle nicely, but may be unstable for a longer necked instrument such as a baritone uke or mandola. Good value for the price if used appropriately.

Decent for the Price
Pretty decent for what you pay. Lays pretty low, got this for a mandolin and found it sits better on a desk. Was able to fit baritone ukulele in but was a tight fit. Nice felt ends for the instruments. Just lays a little too low and is not very sturdy.
