Order a size smaller for a tailored fit.
I just wanted to post some feedback for all of the tall and lanky, skinny folks trudging through the Amazon in search of a tailor fit bike jacket. I am one of you. My measurements are 6 foot 3 inches, 185 pounds, 42 inch chest, 36 inch waist, and 36 inch sleeves. All of the recommendations on this jacket said to order a size smaller than you normally would wear. Even though I usually wear a Large Tall or LT in jackets, I ordered a size Medium and it fits perfectly. My wife says it looks like it was custom tailored for me.The quality of this jacket is unbelievable. My last jacket was a similar style from Harley Davidson. I think I paid $450 for it on sale in a HD store. It was a different kind of leather; less textured and a little stiffer. Not bad, but different. The Joe Rocket, however, feels much more supple and softer. It is a thick leather, but it's not as heavy as my HD jacket. I like it much more. There are no vents. There are inside pockets for pads (not included). The collar has a neoprene liner - nice and comfy. Oh, and there is a cool little key pocket on the right sleeve; which I plan on using just because it's there. Maybe even for keys. :)All of the zippers are smooth, though I still plan on rubbing silicone grease on them. All of the buttons work easily. The leather is supposed to be protected, but I will put some Obenauf's oil on it just incase.I love the cut. It's very comfortable and slim fitting. If I use the snaps on my waist, I can trim it 2 inches and it now fits my waist exactly. So unbuttoned, it have room for movement. Remember that I did order a size smaller as recommended by most of the reviews here. So, If you are over 6 foot and can scratch you knees without bending at the waist, don't worry about sleeve length. If you want a tailored fit without looking like a coffee shop hipster, just order a size smaller than what you usually would. Or better yet, check out this jackets sizing chart on Joe Rocket's website. Then you can measure yourself and know for sure.Hope this review helped you. I wrote this review to help others decide if this was right for them. Ordering jackets online can be a pain in the chaps. I took advantage of Amazon's gracious return policy with three coats before ordering this one. If you have any questions, feel free to comment below and I'll try to help. Overall, I love this jacket. And plan on ordering the lady version for my wife. She wants the brown and cream one in XS.

Great Jacket, worth every penny!
Love this jacket! The leather is top notch, smells so good!! lol.. I had to send the first one back, the large was too small for me. It fit well with the liner out, but was way, way to tight with the liner in. I ordered the extra large... The extra large was way to big for me! I reluctantly sent it back as well. I may reorder the large, and just use it without the liner. There's a good chance I won't need the liner in the winter anyway, I'm in Florida. I mean, it does get cold here in the winter but maybe it'll be enough with just the jacket. The jacket looks even better in person than it does in online photos. The quality was amazing and I'm certain I'll reorder a little closer to fall... Love the way it looks!

Great motorcycle jacket
This is a nice, stylish riding jacket. I ordered the suggested CE armor kit and everything went together just fine. I ordered on size larger than I usually wear and was a little worried that I went too large when I ordered it, but with the liner and armor in it is a little on the snug side through the shoulders. Overall this is a high quality, motorcycle-weight jacket ideal for riding. Given its weight, I doubt I would wear it as an everyday jacket, especially with the armor in, but it's great when I am on the bike,

Very nice, comfortable, functional riding jacket but runs very big
I am writing this with the Joe Rocket Classic '92 jacket on- I just can't take it off, it feels so good. I love it.However, be advised these jackets run Huge (YUGE as they say in the USA these days) . I am 6"2 with 36 waist and everything I wear is a 2XL- from underpants, T-shirts, Fly riding jacket, Anthem riding pants. I even went to a local store and tried on some Joe Rocket jackets. They didn't have this one in store so I tried a couple of their other fabric- and leather models. The XL were WAY too small so I thought it's a deal and ordered the XXL on amazon. Mistake. The XXL was way too big. Arms too long, neck too loose, no way. it was just too big. Exchanged for an XL- good fit, still pretty big, a tad too long perhaps on the arms even (and I have very long arms) but that's cool. I'm not going for an L so keeping the XL.The jacket itself is made of a quite thick but soft leather. It feels awesome. The removable liner is nice, too. Today was a 40F morning and rode it to work, perfect. Rode around some after work today in 50-60 degrees and it was very nice, too. I could wear this down to 30's I think and up to 70-80 without the liner. Many pockets, glove friendly zippers.Inserted my standard armor. Perfect fit still. It doesn't even show. The design is somewhat retro, depending how old you are, I guess. I happened to get my motorcycle license in '92 and this is exactly my style. Not 60's or 70's, somewhat modern but not alien-modern. Just a nice, good quality leather jacket made for riding. The only complaint I have is that the buttons are very very tight. I can see them ripping off at some point sooner than later, it will probably happen as other reviewers have mentioned. The jacket comes with some spare buttons so a repair should be pretty simple- but this is clearly a design problem in my opinion. For a leather jacket that I'm planning to keep for the rest of my life not a biggie but a nuisance nevertheless. If you're looking for a functional leather riding jacket, you can't go wrong for the price. But check the measurements, it is likely to be larger than you think.

Imitation!!!
Not Joe Rocket jacket at all. Poor leather (if it's real leather). No elbow protection as described, no zipper liner as described. Plus a wonderfull 20% restocking fee as a gift when you return it. Amazon, please make this supplier out of your list. This really not represents what you are. I will go to a real Joe Rocket authorized distributor to buy a real Motorcycle jacket. Very disapointed about Amazon on this one.
