Simple Designs: A Laid Back Coloring Book

The pictures are nice and simple. They are fun to color and don't take much thought. The paper is pretty thin so you can't use any markers that could bleed. I reccomend gel pens or colored pencils for this book.

I bought this coloring book to share with the Memory Care facility my Mom is in. Took some copies to hand out to the other residents and they absolutely loved them. These designs are simple enough to not frustrate dementia patients, yet bring enough dimension to allow them to be individual in their art. We had probably 10 dementia patients in the room and all but one participated. I love the simple designs and they can really be as creative with this artwork as they are capable of. Very very nice!! I highly recommend this book for seniors who aren't as nimble with their fingers or their mind as they once were.

This book is perfect for anyone finding it difficult to color some of the more detailed books available. I purchased it for my 83 year old mother and now all her friends want a copy. The pictures are similar to other books in that the designs and subject matter are cute and appealing but there is more space between the lines and less intricate detail. I would highly recommend this to anyone but especially those with shaky hands or poor eyesight.

I was so happy to find this coloring book! I came back to coloring when I had to have surgery. I thought having a book and colored pencils in the hospital would be relaxing. Well, the first book I picked up was not relaxing. I was mainly mandalas, and they were very full, complicated designs. When I was discharged from the hospital I came here to Amazon to search for coloring books. They all seemed too complicated, designs that would take weeks, even months to complete. I needed satisfaction of completion quicker than that. I typed in "adult coloring books simple design" and found this book. I'm so happy to complete these pictures! It's relaxing and satisfying. More books like these please! Thanks!

I bought this book for the residents of my local retirement center to use in our pencil coloring afternoon get togethers. Some of the folks who join us have limitations whether it is eyesight or physical to do any detailed coloring. This is a wonderful book for those who have the ability to do more than the very basic say mandalas but cannot do smaller detailed pictures.I do hope the author will do another book since this is such a wonderful addition for those who do have limitations. I love this SIMPLE coloring book! I hate the crazy ones that take 3 hours to color one picture! I loose interest to fast and want to move on. This coloring book is perfect for me and my attention span and Busy schedule!

Nice and simple designs. The other books give me anxiety because they're so incredibly busy and I feel like I'm never making any progress!!!This book is great. Coloring a page takes approximately 15-30 minutes and it looks great. Even my 6 year old can color this without feeling overwhelmed!

I was looking for a large print, simple coloring book, without intricate details. This book is perfect. It has 36 pages to color and a protection sheet in the back of the book to prevent bleed through.

Really boring and repetitive. All the pictures are of flowers or hearts or bits of flowers or a combination of flowers and hearts ant the same sort of flower as that on the front cover appears again and again. Some pages are pictures, some are wavy patterns. The only one that seems a bit different is a picture of a palm tree in a setting.

This was purchased for someone who has recently had a stroke. She Is very arty but could noy manage any of her usual activities and this was just right!

Some designs are not so simple which defeats the purpose really.
