TRIXIE 4-Way Cat Flap with Tunnel, Dark Gray, 20x22cm

I am not really one to review, but this cat flap is just perfect, Especially when you find the tunnel extensions. We required another 2 tunnel addons and it was perfect, See pics for finished job

Bought for new door which is grey and this catflap was one of the few grey-coloured ones I could find. Was installed by door fitter into composite door so can't comment on how easy it was (but he didn't mention any issues). It looks good - nice and neat on each side of the door. 4 way lock is useful. One problem however is that the flap doesn't 'flap' back into place once the cat has been through - it stays open. Isn't too big an issue for me as the door it is installed in only goes into the garage. I notice the draught when I go into the garage though, so I usually push/pull the flap shut myself. Hoping it will swing more freely once it has been used more...

Good quality plastic, strong. The only thing is the screws are a bit rubbish. But that's nothing, what's apack of screws cost. Would recommend. I have had cat flaps before and the plastics have been rubbish. Plastic on these fills tough.

I bought this before Christmas to fit in a brand new door which was just fitted yesterday. Whilst the flap looks smart and was easy to install ( door manufacturer having made the appropriate sized hole) it is shockingly drafty.The rubber seal may as well not be there as there is a 1 or 2 mm gap all the way round the flap. All the cold winter air blows through, despite the packaging saying it is weather proof. Kind of defeats the object of getting a new door!Also when my cat goes through the flap stays open ( other reviews mention this too) again letting the weather in & I'm not sure if this will affect my cat trying to get back in too.In short, do not buy this catflap. I am now going to have to hunt for a replacement with the same sized opening.

Definitely a nice looking cat flap that goes brilliantly with my new grey door and the locking facility seems easy enough to use.I will say that this is quite a small cat flap so if your cat is a little.....um....fat, then you might want to consider this. For me it was a right pain to install. Ok, so I had to make the existing hole smaller ( it was a Petsafe Staywell I had before) with a bit of batten but then I had to shave 5cm or so off one of the tunnel pieces to make it flush with the door! I did get there in the end though after only mild swearing so it has to lose a star I'm afraid.

ouverture va-et-vient pas super efficace, pose très facile mais prévue pour une épaisseur extrêmement précise - ou alors il faut être bon bricoleur et maitriser la petite disqueuse ...l'avantage ... couleur RAL 7016 qui va très bien avec les portes de garage

Conception :De bonne facture, tout plastique, elle est suffisamment solide pour un usage quotidien ; cet achat remplace une ancienne chatière de fabrication maison en bois assez rudimentaire mais costaude.Installation :Chatière très bien conçue et facile à installer, J'ai du redémonter l'ensemble le lendemain pour raboter quelques millimètres du bois de la porte, car la trappe de la chatière se coinçait parfois avec le passage de mon plus gros chat (8kg).Prix psychologique :Je ne voulais pas mettre plus de 25 euros dans ce système mécanique. Le rapport qualité prix est vraiment satisfaisant par rapport à d'autres modèles similaires mais plus onéreux et qui n'apportent rien de plus.Avis après usage :J'ai attendu l'espace de 1 mois et demi avant d'évaluer cette chatière et je pense avoir assez de recul pour dire que :- Mes deux gros chats l'utilisent pour entrer et sortir sans problème.Attention tout de même !- J'alterne souvent les positions car j'ai un jeune félin en garde qui ne doit pas sortir sans surveillance. Un de mes chats avant de s'engager a testé avec sa patte la trappe battante. Celui-ci est resté coincé quand il a voulu retirer sa patte. Comme tout animal, il s'est couché, résigné, mais c'est une éventualité à conserver à l'esprit. La chatière peut se révéler un piège à mâchoire très efficace.Question au vendeur :Faut-il passer et obtenir l'examen de piégeur agrée avec cet outil ?Mise en garde :Le jeune félin en garde après 7 jours d'élaboration de plans d’évasion se dandinait dehors... Après vérification, la porte battante était bien sur le mode empêchant toute fuite de l’intérieur. Incompréhension ! Mise en situation du rebelle qui démontre qu'un animal doté d'un esprit anarchiste ou d'un esprit de liberté peut tirer la porte avec ses griffes en s'attaquant au joint et passer avec une dextérité et une rapidité déconcertante. Joint assez fragile pour un usage pas adapté...Conclusion :Chatière qui me satisfait pleinement mais qui semble totalement inefficace pour certains modèles de chats. Ils sont couleur poudre noire, espiègles et répondent aux doux noms de Proudhon, Bakounine ... J'espère que ce témoignage permettra d’apporter quelques éléments aux heureux possesseurs de félins dans l’achat ou non de cet article.

Kattenluik werkt goed, je kan het makkelijk open en dicht draaien. Helaas is het luik niet winddicht, als het waait of het is koud, dan voel je dat goed.Helaas ging na anderhalf jaar het deurtje kapot (gebroken).
