I wanted something a bit warmer for winter. We use quilts and they don't keep us warm enougg in the winter. So, I bought this comforter after reading all the reviews. It has exceeded my expectations. It's warm, sometimes too warm that I sweat. But still feels light and comfy. It was a great buy and the pattern is cute too. We have little dogs that sleep with us and it's held up to them too. I'm impressed and really happy I bought it.

I've had this blanket for 3 months now. The construction is high quality. It has been through my top loading washing machine many times, and there is no damage, pilling, or fading at all. The fabric is pretty high quality, with a super soft velvet feel to it, which feels nice when you are cuddling with it, which I wasn't even expecting. The warmth of this blanket would be a medium, it's not light, and it's not heavy. It won't keep you warm if it is super freezing cold with no heat. But if it's just mildly cold in the house, then it will keep you pretty warm. I haven't tried it in the summer yet, and I will come back and update when the weather warms up. As for temperature regulating, I could feel it. It does keep you warm, and lets extra heat escape. I used to sweat every night with my other blankets, but with this blanket, I don't sweat as often, maybe only 2 or 3 times a week. And when I do sweat, this blanket does not stay wet at all. The only wet parts when I wake up would be my sheets, and pillow case, but the blanket always remains dry, so that is a huge plus. I am very happy with this blanket. I would recommend this blanket if you are looking for durability, and if you have night sweats.***UPDATE***I've had this comforter for a year and a half now and I still love it, and decided to do an update. It is still in the same condition as when I first bought it. It has gone through the washer and dryer more times than I could remember. The color hasn't faded at all, the filling isn't popping out, the stitching is still holding up, and the fabric is still as velvety soft as when I first got it. I use this comforter for most of the year in Pennsylvania during Winter, Spring, and Fall, but it might be too hot for Summer. I would actually purchase this comforter again if I ever needed to.

Got this to replace an old comforter that had seen better days.I purchased QUEEN size even though I'm using it on a KING size bed. It fits the top of the mattress perfectly but does NOT overlap. If you have a KING size bed and want the overlap, be sure to order KING size.The material is soft and, after using it on a few cool nights, it kept me quite warm. I'm not sure what the "cooling" feature is all about.All in all, this is a great value.

color is beautiful dusty / smokey blue. definitely a winter weight comforter as it's very warm though not ' heavy'. surface is soft and stitching is well done. wish there was a matching pillow sham, i had to search to find one and it's not ideal. my complaint is the wrinkle factor - shipped vacuum packed, it took some effort to get it out of the baggie - i opened it up and fluffed it, let it lie open for more than 4 weeks ( while we got around to painting the bedroom). tried to fit it into the dryer with a damp towel to un-wrinkle it, but it's too big to fit in my dryer. it's been out of the wrapper now for more than 7 weeks and wrinkles are still obvious. if you have a jumbo dryer you'll be all set with this.

It's so soft, breathable and just the right weight. I can't sleep without it! Feels like I'm in a hotel bed every night. Makes me wonder how I ever slept good without it!!

What really drew me to this comforter was the temp regulating feature and I am very happy to say it works wonderfully. My order was delivered very quickly and very well packaged. When I removed to put on my bed I was not disappointed. I have an extra think queen mattress so I purchased the king size comforter to make sure I had enough in the sides to meet the box springs and it fits perfectly. My mattress seems to retain all the heat your body produces and is way to warm for me but this comforter really does help. I only woke up once and had to stick out my foot to regulate the temperature. The comforter is very well made and quite light weight. I purchased the navy blue / dusty gray and I absolutely love both colors. The material is quite soft and the wrinkles from packaging fell out quite fast. The colors are very rich and even and the stitching is even and very well done. It does have the 8 corner loops for if you wish to use a duvet cover but quite honestly this fabric is so soft and beautiful I don’t know why anyone would want to cover it up. The box-stitching is perfectly done and I love the u-shape stitching as it makes it very easy to determine which way it lies on the bed and the box-stitching holds the filling evenly and lies beautifully. The navy is very rich looking and while I’m not a lover of gray normally I really am happy and impressed with the shade on the reversible side. When you first remove from the box the comforter is quite flat and frumpy looking. When I first removed from box and vacuum wrapping I was surprised it smelled quite nice ( no chemicals or sizing) and felt very soft. I was a bit disappointed because it was very wrinkled and flatter than a pancake. I really wanted a fluffy puffy rich looking comforter. I thought oh well I’ll give it a chance since it was already in the bed. I went back in about 10 minutes later and holy cow no wrinkles and it was puffy like a cloud.I give this comforter all 5 stars and would give it more if I could. I simply love this comforter and look forward to purchasing more products from this company.

Definitely worth $54. Looks great like a hotel. Soft. Thin and light so I can't say how warm it would be in a cold place.

I purchased two of these. Comforters are very well made. Nice and warm for our Canadian winters. They were a little longer than the comforters they replaced which was a nice surprise. The colour is exactly as shown. I would definitely purchase again.

This was a surprise because I half expected it to be hot, but all I did was throw a cooling duvet cover and I stopped sweating! The material is so soft and I loved the colour. Overall, I use it all year through and am pleased with this purchase!

This review is after a few months of use. I bought this to replace our old comforter that we received as a wedding gift many many years ago. I'm afraid I wasted money and downgraded. The blanket is lovely and soft (it left a lot of lint behind in the dryer) but not at all fluffy or warm. It's very flat. Really the fabric feels fantastic and the pattern is nice but that's about all it has to recommend it.
