The media could not be loaded. This is a great pull up bar! I owned a golds gym pull up bar before and it didnt fit my door right so i had to do some adjustments to make it work. This onetwofit bar however is a vast improvement and very well built. It feels very sturdy and solid! My daughter loves to hold on to me while i do some pull ups hence the "weeee" in the video i uploaded. 😆 but i highly recommend this product its great you wont be sorry just measure your door before purchase they offer to size ranges. Installing was fairly easy a little cumbersome but one its in you're good to go!

I weigh 220 and it holds me. Wish there were more hand positions, but straps work for now. Didn’t appear to leave any marks on door frame from use either

The item was easy to assemble and the instructions were easy to follow. The item was sturdy and felt like it was made of quality material. However, once assembled and installed into a doorway as firmly as it could be made to, the item could not bear a load of more than 20 pounds. Novel idea of a retractable pull up bar, needs improving before it can be used.

I really have no problem with the construction or the sturdiness of the bar.But the bar is simply way too narrow! I suppose it makes sense, since the doorway is pretty narrow to begin with, but the images for the bar are misleading. There is no way you can do 2x shoulder-width pull-ups like shown in the main picture. Realistically, for most people, the grips are around 1x shoulder-width (think chin-up or OHP grip width).The bar does stay very steady, and does not budge once installed. The collars to insert and lock the bar are a bit gimmicky, but workable.Just don't buy this bar and expect to do wide grip pull-ups. Unless you do what I did, and just grab the bar on the adjustment area rather than the grips. Not as comfy, but I can get about a 1.5x shoulder width grip with my doorway, and better than nothing in my COVID-era college dorm lifting setup.

You can adjust it to do dips back rows etc!!I wish I bought it sooner. I had a door way hanging pull-up bar which actually broke !! I just moved and in the house used to live in it still fits because it has a wide doorway. This new place has smaller doorways. One side still minimizes as expected, but the other doesn't anymore. If both sides still worked it would fit in the new doorway, but I can't shrink it to fit.I tried finding a way to open it up so I can see what's going on inside with the possibility of fixing it myself, but I can't do that either.Other than that, I've had it for over a year and it hasn't fallen while I was on it. I've frequently hung my whole body weight on it ( 130lb ). I've swung on it. It's sturdy. It doesn't damage the doorway or the paint. It's just not adjusting to its expected ranges anymore.

As other reviewers have stated, it is a bit narrow, but I have narrow door frames in my apartment, so it fits perfectly. It was easy to assemble, and I haven't had any issues with it breaking the door frame.Since I'm not great at pull ups, I'm able to attach a band on to it for assistance.Great product! Glad I purchased it!

I didn't but this for exercise. I bought to suspend my dog in a harness to safely trim his name. He weighs 84lbs, the bar does support quite a bit of weight. I am very happy with my purchase.
