There is 48 wax guards per order on this listing.

Q: The holder on my Starkey hearing aid filters is blue, does this matter?

I don't believe the holder color has any significance. That is probably based on the particular manufacturer. The important thing is that the filters on the end of the insertion rods are the right size for your hearing aids. The holders on my recent purchases are grey, and the insertion rods are red.

Q: Are these the Hear Clear Plus small?

Big Daddy Don, and cottnpickr, pretty much answered the question. The ones I bought (which look identical to your pic) are called Hear Clear. There is no statement as to "small", or any other size comment. These are "wax guard" filter replacements. The red "sticks" are vacant on the ends shown, but on the other end is a white replacement filter. You stick in the blank end of the stick into the white filter in your ear piece, and when you pull it back it pulls out the "wax filled" filter, and then you turn the stick around and reinsert it into the earpiece, and when you pull it back out it leaves the new filter in place. These are very good for people like me that are heavy ear wax producers. I have to use mine about once every week to 10 days. These are available on line through Amazon for about $6.00 for a packet of 8.Good luck.

I can only answer for my Starkey Hearing Aids and they fit Starkey.
