As an avid D.I.Y er, I wasn't phased at the thought of assembling this bed by myself.Although the job was tricky at times - mainly due to the weight of some parts - and having to be creative without having a second pair of hands to help me - I managed. I would definitely recommend 2 people for this flat pack, it is, however, quite possible to assemble it single handed.I'm impressed with the quality and sturdiness once built. I've placed the bed on furniture gliders so that I can move it a bit easier should I need to in the future.All the required parts were present in the flatpack and the instructions were relatively easy to understand and follow.I'm hoping this bed will last me for many years!Very happy with my purchase.

I love design - that was main reason for buying this bed. It’s only one of it’s kind. Plenty space under bed. Enough to put there even larger suitcase, luggage. The best part of it: front is completely covered by shelves. Behind your head there is a space to keep books, chargers, alarm clock, something to drink or bedsnacks, family photos, there drawers for more valuable items.Minus: wood is very soft: makes easy for damages. My bed arrived with plenty of ugly looking corners- probably during transportations. It was sadly to see it, and made a lot of concern… but in the end I really didn’t mind it, because it was a shape of bed I really wanted including price- affordable. More sturdy wood definitely will cost 10times more. In rented flat is no point to over spend money.

This company are shocking in almost every way.Originally placed my order on 1st June and I was pretty quickly advised it would be 'some time' (eventually told 2-4 working days) after 20th July that they would deliver the bed, it was our choice to accept this delay so no real issue there. But we're now on the 29th July having had multiple issues and still... no bed.Apparently this bed is delivered in three parts and for some insane reason, it seems a reasonable and normal thing to do is deliver all three parcels in a totally random order and at totally random times. We received one parcel around 22nd June, totally unannounced, damaged and thrown on top of building waste at the front of our house. Two weeks later and after chasing Happy Beds a second parcel arrived; again totally unannounced even though I had been told the courier would let me know.After informing Happy Beds that we were still missing the crucial parts to the bed, they demanded I take photographs of the items we had as the courier was claiming to have delivered all three parcels. Having provided the photos, Happy Beds assured me that the missing bed parts were being sent out to me. WRONG. What they sent was a duplicate of the first parcel we received. After yet another snarky email off customer services and an even snarkier response off me I was told they would be collecting the duplicate and delivering the missing parts...Guess what?! Five days later they still haven't delivered the missing bed parts, their customer services number just rings and rings and rings; very, very helpful and eight weeks after my initial order, I still don't have a bed. Useless company, useless customer service and I'm gonna hazard a guess its gonna be a pretty useless bed if we ever actually get the thing.EDIT: I had to open a dispute with Amazon directly for a full refund in the end, as Happy Beds refused to be reasonable and help. I purchased the bed elsewhere; it's not luxury quality but we like it and it does the job.

There are ... so many issues that come with this bed, I'm not even sure where to begin.Firstly, when my bed was delivered, the delivery people didn't even offer to take it upstairs for me - Although I pride myself in doing tasks on my own, I'm a small girl and taking up heavy wooden planks up three flights of stairs ... well, I'm 90% of hurt my back from it.Secondly, not all of the parts were with the delivery - I was missing crucial parts to the bed and it could not be built. I had to ring the company themselves to get the parts and even then it took over ONE MONTH for these parts to come. I was missing almost half of the screws and up to five parts - an when they were delivered? One of the parts were still wrong ... so I only have one shelf.Thirdly, the sizing is a bit ... strange, although I ordered the bed for a double mattress, there is a huge gap between the mattress an the side of the bed which is an annoyance.Finally, all of the shelves are small to a point where you can't have a small book upright, all my books are laying flat and although that might be minor, it's an annoyance.Personally, I wouldn't buy this product again as it was such a hassle on my end.

Its a very good quality, mattress is well made. Very happy and would highly recommend.
