Brings back memories. It would be perfect if the fruit flavors were stronger.

I usually don't review stuff I order because I really don't normally care. I'm lazy.. but I felt like I had a responsibility to share with anyone with working taste buds, how truly awful these are. When I was younger, people would buy this type of candy and I'd eat it, and enjoyed it. They were never my favorite, but I'd eat the heck out of em if they were around. These, I can eat the red and purple ones and it simply tastes.. okay. Not horrible, not great.. just.. mediocre. Sub par. The yellow orange and green are DISGUSTING. The green tastes like what I'd imagine citrus/lime pledge would taste like. The yellow tastes like lemon pledge with extra citrus like.. A LOT OF CITRUS. The amount I'd imagine a real lemon to have, without the good taste, if that makes sense. The orange also had extra citrus and had an aftertaste of straight up gasoline. Not joking, or exaggerating. I was actually quite worried that something may have tainted the batch? Like one of the machines manufacturing the candy, broke and poured a bunch of oil and chemicals in it? That's really what it tastes like. If I hadn't paid for them, I'd simply say no thanks, or give them away. I actually tried to give them away but nobody wants them, so I forced myself to eat a few more just to see if maybe I was just being crazy, but nope. They're nasty. I threw them away. Total waste of money. I guess I'm better off seeing as how these are horrible for you even when they taste okay.. Stay away. And to whoever is making these, seriously.. the citrus flavoring is WAY too much.

Mall good and delivered on time

We bought 5lbs of another brand as my wife loves them for when her blood sugar drops. They were flavorful and soft so I went to buy more and found this brand for about $6 cheaper. Knowing many candies are produced by the same companies and have similar tastes and such, I bought these for about $20. They come in a simple, zipper top plastic bag.Flavor - the flavor were a bit weak comparing to the other brand. The initial bite released a bit of the fruit flavor that did not intensify as much as I expected as the piece was chewed. Some of the after-flavors almost had a medicinal aftertaste, not like a burn, but more of a "chemical" or "ingredient" flavor instead of the fruit flavor. The fruit flavor dissipates fairly quickly on some flavors but the orange and lemon seemed to last a little longer.Texture - the candies were extremely dense and gummy. I prefer a softer texture as these tended to break down into smaller bits instead of dissolving as it was chewed.Size - I think the size was adequate. They may be a tiny bit smaller than some others but not enough to feel "cheated."
