## Overview

The Orbit 54028 Pop-Up Flush Head Sprinkler features a durable brass nozzle with adjustable spray radius up to 15 feet and a maximum flow rate of 13.2 GPM at 30 PSI. Designed for easy replacement in existing low-profile irrigation systems, it offers multiple spray patterns and compatibility with smart controllers for efficient water use. Ideal for professional-grade lawn and garden irrigation with hassle-free maintenance.

## Description

Flush head sprinklers are quite common in systems from 20 or more years ago. These systems are still very serviceable, and the pop-up flush head is an excellent way to keep them in good shape. The version with pop-up action gives an extra inch or so of spray height which makes it more suitable for grass while a traditional flush head is more common in above-ground applications such as shrubs and flowerbeds. The brass nozzle includes an adjustment screw which allow you to reduce the spray pattern down to 75 percent of its maximum radius of 15 feet. Flush heads have 1/2" female pipe threads (FPT) and you will typically mount them on a 1/2" male pipe thread (MPT) rigid PVC or cut-off riser. The flush head wrench is an accessory which makes it simple to remove and install flush heads without extensive digging. The flush head nozzle is easy to replace with a brass flush head spray nozzle with male threads. These flush heads do not have pressure-regulating riser stems and are not for sale in California and other states which require pressure regulation. Recommended operating pressure is 30 PSI. For outdoor irrigation use with cold water only.

## Features

- For replacing existing low-profile “flush” sprinkler heads in landscape areas; precision-machined brass or molded plastic ensure consistent spray quality

- Available in fixed nozzle height for shrubs and 1.5-inch pop-up height for lawn; compatible with flush heads from Orbit, Champion, and other major brands
- Non-pressure regulating spray head: check local code for restrictions
- Control with a B-hyve smart controller for optimum water conservation

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do you have any full circle sprinkler heads? I have not been able to find full circle replacements. Any ideas?**
A: there are full circle spray heads

**Q: How much psi does it take to run each head? i'm looking to install a series of these.**
A: You probably want to think more about flow rather than pressure. Try to determine your supply flow, use a container of known volume and a watch with a second hand and your garden hose to determine the supply then use sprinkler head flow spec to determine how many heads on a circuit.

**Q: What is the spray width of these heads?**
A: For my water system about 10-12 ft. May increase some depending on your system pressure/volume and sprinkler adjustments.

**Q: How do you adjust the direction of the 1/2 spray’s direction? When I turn the whole head counter-clockwise to adjust the direction, it leaks at base.**
A: To adjust the spray direction.tighten the brass head onto the sprinkler clockwise.Turn the whole sprinkler to the left or right after connecting to water pipe. Then adjust the spray pattern with screw .
