Honeywell Q345A1305 Target Type Pilot Burner

This was for a BARD furnace that apparently uses a 'unique' mounting system, and the actual OEM part is as scarce as hen's teeth. THIS however, works just fine so long as you use the mounting bracket that is already in the furnace and I'll wager it would fit a LOT of models in the same way. Pull the old one out, remove it from the mounting bracket, install the new one on the old bracket and reinstall. Easy peasy. Interestingly the 'direct replacement' from Bard has the SAME issue -- the mounting. bracket is different, but again, you can remove the old bracket from the old part and reuse it easily so .... Getting replacement parts for durable goods like cars and furnaces should NOT be so hard! Thank you for keeping this in stock and ready to go! Bought this to replace what I believed to be a faulty pilot burner. Installed this only to have the same problem. Instructions included with this unit had troubleshooting tips which led me to replace the ignitor module. Bought new Honeywell S8610U3009 Furnace Intermittent Pilot Control , from local plumbing supply, installed it and furnace started right up. This pilot lit, sent signal to module within a few seconds. Much faster than older unit, but I don't know if that due to the pilot or the new ignitor module. Just happy my heat is once again functional. Also, my unit came with 2 orifices, one for nat. gas, and one for lp gas. Can't comment on longevity of the pilot, but will update review if it goes bad. In the meantime, I kept the old unit to use as a spare if needed.

Was a direct fit no mods required. Item picture made me a tad nervous as it shows a curved spark electrode. Electrode is straight like the OEM.

This item, Q345A1305, has a forward facing pilot tip. Often noted as "F Tip". The Q345A1313 referenced in the "Amazon's Choice" tag line (as of this writing) has a 20-degree offset Left facing tip, often noted as "L Tip". The Q345A1321 has the 20-degree offset Right facing tip, often referred to as "R Tip". This specific tip, Q345A1305 might work in place of the other two for furnaces, but often it will not. It depends on the furnace pilot/burner configuration. Be careful what you are looking for. It did not work for me. 1-star rating primarily because this information is not discussed in the listing description and this item is tagged as a replacement for another part in error (as of this writing).

Used to replace the old pilot assy. on an HB SMITH boiler which was using the S86 series ignition control, where the spark wire is also used to prove flame. (i.e. flame sensor)

Worked like a charm; shipping was expedient and it came exactly as described. I had no trouble installing it (although I wouldn't because I'm a retired Commercial HVAC tech and Chief Engineer).

Comes setup for natural gas, has the LP gas oriface included in the box. Easy to switch over. Works great.

Ordered as a spare. Not able to review it yet.
