Monster of a Dutch oven but cooks great.

I'm a big, big fan of cast iron enamelware. And this is a great pot, but I have one major and one minor complaint. The handle on the lid is way too small. If you're cooking, the handle is hot, so you gotta use a hotpad or mitt; very hard with such a small handle. Even when cold, with bare hands, the handle is way too small. Minor issue, although it has a cast iron core, it does not distribute heat as well as regular, non-enameled cast iron, so be advised when choosing which burners to use. So 4 out of 5.

The product looks amazing and I look forward to cooking with it. Unfortunately, the handle was not bubble wrapped and chipped the enamel in shipping. This could easily be prevented to ensure the product arrives undamaged. Now I need to locate an enamel paint pen to prevent corrosion and further chipping.

Very nice, exactly like described, excellent quality,my wife loves it,but before you order I do want to let everyone know it cast iron enamel so it's heavy but any cast iron is going to be heavier than other cookware but you will never ware it out

Great pot for stews or gumbo. This is one heavy duty cast iron pot that will last for decades.
