The kit worked perfectly on my felt project. The punch cut an accurate size hole and the setter secured the grommet really well. The tools are well-made and sturdy.

Bought this to punch holes in paper journals. It works fine for what I bought it for. However, when I first used it I ended up with a tiny metal splinter in my hand which I suspect is from the manufacturing process. So, before you use it you might want to wipe it down with a fuzzy cloth just to be safe.

This tool is a must have if you do any sewing at all. I won’t be without this handy little tool.

my package didn’t come with any washers so i bought those separately. when i tried using the product, the grommet and the washer get stuck on the eyelet setter. i had to use pliers to get the grommet off of the eyelet setter.

Disappointed with this package as the hole punch is completely the wrong size. See attached photo. The hole in the center is the made with the provided punch, clearly way to small, eyelet will not fit in hole and therefore useless if I can’t make a hole with the provided tool. I contacted the seller a few days ago, with no response I have to image they will not respond and if any quality control was in place it’s obvious this does not work. The setter will work with the anvil, BUT I purchased an anvil, setter, and hole punch. If the seller responds and corrects this by providing the correct hole punch so this actually works as advertised more stars would follow. Right now as is, 2 stars with no response from seller and an item that doesn’t work as a system purchased. If you buy this item and receive the same, be prepared to spend more money on the correct hole punch, or look for a better setter and punch set where they actually tested the product before they sell it. The last photo is the required hole on the outside which is 3 mm or 1/8 OD, inside that circle is the one that came with the purchased item. Just another representation of how the provided punch is small enough to fit inside the correct hole punch. So, if it don’t fit, well you know the rest.

I have to admit: user error for my first few attempts. I was getting frustrated because each and every grommet was splitting and then getting stuck on the tool.Go look at the instructions again and, "Doh! I am using the wrong tool!" The setter is the tool that looks like it should punch through (the pointy one), and the hole maker is the one that splits and gets stuck!It's amazing how great it works when you use it correctly *sheepish grin*
