I have two of these. One outside my front door and one inside a hall cupboard. They give a great amount of light and hardly ever need charging, but when they do they don't take long at all.

I ordered this to go under a kitchen cupboard but found it smaller than expected and it wasn't bright enough and started the return process. Because the only return label available was no printer required and just a QR code I wasn't able to take it to post office due to shielding. I was waiting to find someone to take it for me. Yesterday I decided to clear out my shed and as it got dark I was wishing I had a light. I literally has a 'light bulb' moment and remembered this light that was packed up and ready to return. I decided to try it in the shed and it was just perfect. Positioned above the door it comes on when someone walks in and gives a bright enough light to see what's required. I haven't given a rating for battery life because I am not sure how long to will need between charges, but the magnetic strip makes it easy take take indoors to charge. Whilst is wasn't suitable for the original purpose, it will be ideal for understairs cupboards, sheds and any smaller dark space. I would buy again for this purpose.

I bought this to provide light should my child get up in the night and can't find the light switch.It has 4 settings, off, bright & PIR, half bright & PIR and permanently on.Either PIR setting only detects movement in low light conditions saving the USB rechargeable internal battery.The light is bright and fairly bright on the half setting.The double-sided tape provided does stick the metal strip to any clean and flat surface. The light itself is magnetic and stays put on the metal strip.It is easily removed for recharging at any nearby USB source.It is super easy to install.The light will NOT work while charging so cannot be left plugged in.Apart from that it serves my purposes well as it detects movement within ten feet.

Item arrived on time. On opening was surprised at the weight and size, very compact and light.We opted for the COOL WHITE LIGHT version as we wanted a bright light for night reading, it was used as a night reading light!On first opening and checking, all parts were present and not damaged.Plugged in for 1st change with supplied USB micro type b connector saw a RED DOT as stated online description then came back within 2hr and a BLUE DOT appeared...FULLY CHARGED!Have been using the led strip light for 3 nights so far , 2hrs each time (6hrs total now) still bright!With the added bonus of PIR function, we used mode 3, works just like the floodlight which no settings needed to set. ALL AUTOMATIC, REALLY EASY, STUPID PROOF!!!Bottom line it does what is says without any fuss, hassle free , no drilling , no wiring, no time wasted (apart from charging) AND NOT TOO EXPENSIVE!We will definitely recommend to friends and relatives. EXCELLENT PRODUCT.

We installed it input small storage - easy to use and okayish light power. But the battery life is too short. We charge it more frequently then we actually use it. So we bought another product that runs with D type battery.

I recently bought one of these reluctantly due to the £15.99 price tag (but needing one for a specific reason). My gut feeling when i bought this product turned out to be right. After opening the box it was quite clear that it was a poor quality product. The design is simple, which is absolutely fine and it serves its purpose. However, with these kinds of products the battery capacity is almost always the biggest problem. Mine didn't last very long at all, despite a full charge. Upon inspection the battery in use is a polymer (which again is fine) but as my photo shows, it quite clearly isn't 1,500mAh as advertised (3.89Wh @ 3.7V is 1,050mAh). UPDATE - I was correct, it actually says 1,050mAh hidden underneath the glue (photo attached).To put it simply, its not worth £15.99. Something like £5-7 would be far more reasonable, along with a correctly adjusted battery rating (as it stands at the moment, the Amazon listing for this item is simply false). You could pick something almost identical up elsewhere on the internet for a far more reasonable price. The seller is making a lot of money from people here with this product.My suggestion to the seller - update your battery capacity on the product page to stop misleading people and lower the price to something more reflective of the quality. Alternatively, double (maybe even triple) the polymer battery within it (there is certainly plenty of space) which then probably would make it worth £15.99.

Bought these to light up underneath kitchen cupboards. Charged them when they arrived, which was quite quick. Attached the magnetic strip tape to underside of cupboard and then placed the light onto the tape. When darkness started to fall in the kitchen, the lights then started to work ; so every time I was in range, the lights came on, and then after a few minutes, when I was out of range, the lights went off. So easy to charge and you get 3 different settings so you can choose what’s best for you. They are a great price and a great product.
