Feeling Robbed!!
This book is nothing more than a thinly veiled advertisement for his website...save your self the trouble and money of reading it and buying it and purchase (anyone, but his.... software) to help draft your plan. Or alternatively read James Horan's "1 page business plan" book - whom I have no affiliation with......but it actually includes worksheets, templates, and calculators/tools to actually accomplish something. The chapters are organized into extremely high level (tangibly useless) discussion on the areas a business plan should cover (which could replicated with a quick google search). The answer to "HOW" for all the topics referenced is a bold and underlined referencing t o his website to buy their software....which purportedly would be a step by step guide to creating a concrete and concise business plan....however I'd guess the web access is nothing more than a feeder, just like his book into some type of custom coach...The one take away was that SBA may have good resources for me to check into.

The best book on business planning so far.
Hurdle is a fairly comprehensive book on business planning. So far it is the best I have found.Reading the Hurdle book can help you to make sense of all the details of a business plan. It helps you to think about the different areas of writing a business plan.If you can read Hurdle in the version with the color charts, like is on the Business Plan Pro CD, it is easier to make sense of the charts. Several of the versions recreate the charts in black and white which makes it difficult to read them. Before you begin to write a business plan you should read five books. The first one would be Frank Bettger's How I Raised Myself from Failure to Success (Infinite Success Series) . This book is a must read for everyone no matter what business they are in. The second book should be From Idea to Success: The Dartmouth Entrepreneurial Network Guide for Start-Ups . The third book should be The Art of the Start: The Time-Tested, Battle-Hardened Guide for Anyone Starting Anything The fourth book should be this one. Finally the fifth book should be The Plan-As-You-Go Business Plan . Fortunately three of these books are bundled with Business Plan Pro 15th Anniversary Edition .So far I have been unable to find the perfect business plan book that gives the reader all the details from start to finish. If such a book existed it would be very thick and very expensive. The combination of the books I have listed will get you as close as I can get you.

Best Book on BP I have ever read
This was a very easy and clear read. The best book on business planning that I have ever read. It's refreshing to know that you don't need a MBA to read and write a clear business plan. Great examples and figures throughout.
