You need the weather proof case in order for it to have it connected
I like like these but the only thing I have a problem with is that you need to have the weatherproof case in order to work have batteries in them and it works fine on the external powerI brought another brand and it suckedThe external cord was connected and I still had to change the batteries

Simple and easy enjoy the product
It was easy to connect and a wonderful product to use with our cameras, to give us constant power to our high traffic area cameras.

Works fine, but one design issue
Overall, it works fine, and the flat cable is a plus. The provided mounting tacks were also a plus. I deducted one star because the ends could be designed better. One end is an L-shaped micro USB plug. The L-shape makes that end very bulky. The other end is a USB-A connector, which is also fairly large. So if you need to run this through a wall to get to an outlet location, you'll need to drill a large hole to get either of these ends through.A better design, in my opinion, would have been to put a straight micro USB plug at the end (which is small) instead of an L-shaped one. Another option would have been to use a USB-C connector at the power end (much smaller than USB-A) with matching USB-C to A/C plug. Either of these designs would require a much smaller hole if it had to go through a wall.Fortunately for me, 3 of my 5 cameras don't require going through a wall, so this 3-pack worked. However, I ordered a different brand with a straight micro-USB connector at the camera end for the other two so I can feed it through the wall with only a small hole.

Great idea, poor planning.
The Blink out door cameras are great. They were well designed, function great but... if you use them much, they eat batteries like they were potato chips at a party. Enter this power supply. The good: standard plug in USB wall wart, 25 feet of thin cord, tight fitting plug for the camera to help keep out water (but I'd still recommend using the available weather resistant cases). The bad: although the cord is very thin, they stuck a full size USB plug on one end (for the power supply) and while the other end is a mini USB plug, it is set into a hefty right angle fitting. So you have the choice of drilling a 5/8 hole in your wall and fishing the full size USB end or drilling a 7/8 hole and fishing the other end (good luck with that, given it's right angle configuration). Yes, they saved money by using a standard USB power supply, but at the expense of you having to drill a rather large hole in your wall when it could have been a lot smaller had they used a different, a.k.a., smaller plug. If you have to drill through a thick wall, buying an extended 1/4 or 3/8 inch drill is pricey, but nothing compared to buying one 5/8 or 7/8 inch diameter. And if you have to go through a brick wall, forget about any dream of simply running through the mortar. Something under a quarter inch would have been perfect, even if it had to be plugged into an adapter to still use the full size USB power source. Someone was not thinking when they designed this product and should be given a time out.

Good power cord
I am pleased with this power cord and ended up buying three more. The plug fits firmly into the back of the Blink camera providing a water tight seal. I have had my cameras plugged in for a month now through rain and snow and the cameras are still operating with no issue or water intrusion. The flat cable is a nice touch and makes it easier to tuck away the cable when routing from the camera to an outlet. I have not had any discoloration or distortion issues with the camera image as mentioned in some other reviews and the power from the outlet has been sufficient. I have three of my cameras plugged in using the USB end only and have experienced no issues.

Great upgrade to wireless cameras
Bought the wireless cameras and though hmm 2 years on battery sounds great, until you realize you're cameras are in high traffic areas and last a few months, a great way to maximize your cameras without having to buy all new ones

Good cameras
Only problem we have is when the wifi is out. They work great and have been able to help law enforcement with the footage.
