Very cute. Yes I will give one as gift.I put organic cotten in there. Squiirel that it was interesting. Yes a little stiff but this is for birds. They will make work.

Quality and beautifully crafted.

These are great. It's hard finding them anymore, but was thrilled to be able to replace my old ones. They only last a season or two but the wrens love them and I can watch them come in to roost every evening. I've tried others but they don't use them for some reason. They like the all grass construction. The only thing I would suggest is that the rope you hang them from should be reinforced. I wrap gardening wire around it before I hang them, otherwise squirrels can chomp right through it and you'll find them on the ground.

No complaints I'm an Animal Lover and Birdwatcher and Bird Care Taker; So can't wait to clean up the Feeder and put out the hummingbird nest , We do have predators like Hawks to fly through like F-16's , So perhaps these nests will offer Shelter and a Place to Safely Chill .

They should improve hanging string

Cute little hummingbird nests. Put them up but still have not had the pleasure of seeing them used. Hoping that they will be used soon.

Love these! Great natural look that will be sure to entise the Ruby Throated hummingbirds in my area! They are a little bigger than I expected, I believe this is a good thing.

Two of the three nesting pockets were well-made. They were large enough for small birds to roost in. The third one was made of some kind of cedar that was dried out and horribly prickly. The opening was so small and the inside so full of sharp needles, I could not imagine a bird desperate enough to use it. I threw it away. So I can use two out of three. Not a good value, but the other two will be comfortable winter quarters for a couple of lucky little birds. I have observed birds going in right at dark to snuggle in for the night. If you figure that you are getting only two, it is not the best value, but they are good nesting pockets and I have had some like these hold up for three or four years.
