Introduction to Management in the Hospitality Industry

There were no highlights in this book. It was better quality that the used books they charge on campus for double the price!!! This book was a steal!!!

Not going to be overly enthusiastic about a book that I had to buy for a class. Condition was as described. No complaints.

I attend Stratford University. I needed Introduction to the Hospitality Industry, tenth edition, for my Analysis of Hospitality class. When I went to Stratford's bookstore, the book was not available; at all. Fortunately for me I found it on amazon.com. My classmates thought I was crazy for getting my book from amazon when the school was supposed to provide it. More than half way through the quarter, students began to receive the NINTH edition of the book. The professor was gracious enough to allow the class to catch up in SIX WEEKS of missed assignments. NOT ME!!! Thanks, amazon!!!

I enjoyed reading this book which seems odd as it was required reading but I found it very interesting and I learned a lot from reading this.

Text is written with an abundant of information on management in the hospitality industry, but can be confusing when paired up with the prepared questions from the publisher the teachers uses as quizes. Learning is wonderful but confusion undoes part of that learning.
