I USUALLY DON'T WRITE MANY REVIEWS BUT THIS PEN IS WORKING VERY WELL AND WE ARE SO PLEASED WITH IT, I JUST HAVE TO TELL YOU ABOUT IT! WE HAVE TWO MINI-SCHNAUZERS AND MY 14 YEAR OLD IS ALMOST BLIND, RUNS INTO THINGS, LOSES HIS BALANCE, FALLS OVER AND CAN'T GET UP, FRAILS AROUND AND HE WAS GETTING HURT IF WE HAD TO LEAVE THE HOUSE AND LEAVE HIM IN HIS METAL CRATE.THIS SOFT-SIDE PEN, KEEPS HIM IN A LARGER AREA FOR HIM TO WALK AROUND IN A NICE BIG CIRCLE UNTIL HE GETS TIRED ENOUGH TO GO TO SLEEP IN HIS BED. IF HE RUNS INTO IT WHEN INSIDE IT OR OUTSIDE OF IT, HE AND THE PEN BOUNCE BACK STRONG! IT'S LARGE ENOUGH FOR BOTH OF MY MINI-SCHNAUZERS AND COULD HOLD 2 BEDS SHOULD WE TAKE THEM ON TRIPS AND NEED TO LEAVE THEM TO GO TO DINNER OR SOMETHING. WON'T HAVE TO WORRY THAT THEY WILL MAKE A MESS AND IT FOLDS INTO ITSELF AND HAS A CARRYING CASE IT COMES IN. EASY TO ASSEMBLY. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS UNFOLD IT, ZIP THE BOTTOM IN, IT ALSO HAS A ZIP TOP YOU CAN LEAVE IN OR KEEP OFF AND TWO ZIPPERED DOORS. I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW USEFUL THIS IS AND HOW WELL IT WORKS FOR SUCH A GREAT PRICE! OUR SENIOR HAS ALREADY MESSED IN IT, AND IT CLEANS UP VERY EASILY TOO. I AM SO TEMPTED TO BUY A SECOND ONE, IN CASE THEY EVER STOP MAKING THEM. IT SEEMS VERY WELL MADE AND SO WELL DESIGNED, YOU CAN TELL AN ANIMAL PERSON DESIGNED IT! IT IS WORTH MUCH MORE THAN IT'S PRICE TAG, STURDY, WASHABLE, LOOKS REALLY COMFORTABLE, EASY TO SET UP, TAKE DOWN, OR LEAVE UP ALL THE TIME LIKE WE DO. WE BOUGHT THE BLACK ONE AND IT LOOKS GREAT TOO! YOU CAN NOT GO WRONG WITH THIS PRODUCT! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! WOULD RECOMMEND TO MY FRIENDS AND WOULD BUY IT AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT! THANKS FOR THIS WONDERFUL PRODUCT!!!!

This helped tremendously with my new puppy. She had lots of room to play, sleep, and eat. She did chew the zipper on one of the doors but I just put that side against the wall and it worked great. Very sturdy and easy to take fold up to take either us. It's lightweight and I love the pink color.

One of my three cats is a large male who loves people but also has a tendency to scratch them when he tires of their attention. I bought this playpen so he can be around visitors without causing bodily injury. But in reality it has been useful for so much more...we also use it for a sort of "time out" (which probably sounds nicer than "cat jail") if one of the cats is getting overly pesky (usually our male cat who, in addition to scratching visitors, also purposely knocks things off counters, bookcases and fireplace mantles if he is not getting enough attention), if I need to perform a task sans feline (usually paperwork AKA their favorite place to sit on top of) or if a workman is coming over and I don't want to worry about the cats escaping through an open door. The cats much prefer hanging out in their little playpen in these situations than being trapped in the basement.Maybe I shouldn't have used the word "little" --- this thing is huge (I guess I couldn't visualize the measurements when I ordered -- could have easily gotten away with the next smaller size -- it does take up the majority of our family room floor's free space.) There is more than enough room inside for three adult cats to hang out in together. In fact, it's big enough for an adult to crawl inside and curl up (not that I would have actually tried that)(recently.)It was very easy to set up, although the zipper on top on mine does get hung up in one spot where the seam must extend out a little bit too much. But I can wiggle it past there without too much effort. The zippers on the doors work very well and quickly so if I need to I can imprison my darling kitties before they even think to try and escape.On the topic of zippers: One of the reasons that I picked this particular playpen is that the bottom is zippered on (not velcro-ed or sewn on.) I know for a fact that my little darlings would easily escape an enclosure if the bottom were simply attached by velcro, but I wanted the option to unzip the bottom for cleaning when the inevitable hairball is deposited on it.I can't speak to the folding-up process as I have not collapsed this playpen since it arrived more than a month ago. The majority of the time, we leave the door(s) open (rolled up) and the cats just go in there to chill on their own. I threw in some of those old towels that don't ever seem to not smell a little musty and it immediately became their favorite place to take naps in (is it just my cats, or do all cats love those stinky-ish towels?)Overall, I am very impressed with the sturdiness of the structure. The mesh is plasticized (or similar process) and is very heavy duty/rugged. Our big ole male has hooked his claws into the mesh door and pulled/pushed on it with his considerable body weight and it wasn't stretched, torn or snagged. The metal framework is also substantial and not a bit flimsy. The fabric is thick and canvas-like.It is rare that a product not only meets but exceeds your expectations, but this ToysOpoly Pet Playpen certainly does.

Love it. Great for feral kittens being socialized. Wish it came with a liner, but bought separately. Durable . Easy to clean. Just wish cover had double zipper. Only opens in one place. Double zipper would allow being able to open anywhere from the top to grab lightning fast critters. Instead I drop down a soft crate under zipper opening and wait till they’re inside that before opening and quickly flipping up the crate flap for containment. At this stage I think they would take off in the house and I’d never find them. This way I can set up the playpen anywhere I happen to be for more rapid socialization. God send, but shipping took a while. Double zipper at top so no need for crate and quicker shipping would have earned a 5 star from me. Also, I used an old waterproof fabric shower curtain, but a removable washable liner would have been nice. I found one separately online… still awaiting its arrival, but that would have been a nice add as well. That said, it wipes down easily after a quick spray it would probably be fine without the liner, but if it had one that snapped in so does not get bunched up, I wouldn’t complain. With the litter box, there is a need to be able to pull up a liner and shake off debris, even when there are no accidents to help keep things tidy.

This playpen was great for driving with kittens! It fits exactly into the back of my Jeep and they had a bed and blankets and a litter box set up for a long trip. They climbed and clawed but weren't able to escape. Good for keeping them contained inside too! And they liked climbing on it and playing in and around it with the doors and top unzipped too.
