Worth Every Penny
Rhem gets better and better. Rhem 3 has more sunlight and water than Rhem 2, which is welcome. These blokes do a beautiful job with the puzzles, or, I suppose I should say, the puzzle. Because it is one large puzzle. It remains a game that benefits from a walkthrough--especially a walkthrough that suggests where to go next (that way, one does not have to quit one's day job). Some aspect of this game reaches toward deep philosophical threads...if there could be a closed world...a linear mathematics...a nonlinear plan... Wonderful stuff.

Rhem 3 = awesome!
So let me say a few things first. If you come looking for blow your eyes out graphics, exciting cutscenes and an immersive plot, this game is NOT for you. If you are considered a smart person, like a good challenge, don't mind pouring over a small screen for hours trying to find out how to open a certain door or move a cart, and wondering what some dude holding a hoop has to do with anything, than this is the game for you! It has barely any plot, looks like it was rendered 4,000 years ago, has small video clips that appear to have originally been taped in a different language, causing them to take forever, has puzzles that would give albert einstein a headache (Ok, maybe I exaggerated a little there, but you get the idea). But enough of that, onto the good stuff about the game! You may be wondering why, after all that, I gave it 5 stars. That would be because of the puzzles. Knut (the designer) really appears to have put a lot of thought into these. These are the type of puzzles that make you want to smash the computer screen because they are so hard. When you finish them however, you feel like "Woah! That was soo easy! Why didn't think of that before?!" I was pretty amazed at the sheer size of the island. I will not go into detail about the puzzles for fear of spoiling it for you, but be sure you have some paper with you for taking notes. You'll need 'em if you don't want to spend all your time hopping around the island looking for that diagram or clue you seem to have forgotten. There's also a cool bonus that Knut threw in where you can get a sneak peek of rhem 4 :) see if you can find it! (I used one of the walkthroughs available on the internet for that part) All in all, it was a great game, and I would recommend it!

Too much for me
I purchased this game Rhem 3  based on how much I enjoyed the Nancy Drew and The Lost Crown games but I got in over my head with this one. I did not get very far before I had to search out a walk through to be able to continue; however I think it is a really good game just out of my league. That is the reason I rate it with 2 stars for enjoyment and four stars overall.

ugh
Worst Game We've ever played. Having not played any of the Rhems before this drove us insane. it's not intuitive nor does it give you any clues other than endless going back and forth. We will never finish it because it's so frustrating.

Wonderful for RHEM and Myst lovers!!!
I loved RHEM 3. The puzzles were challenging and some were very detailed. I think it would be nice to have more of a storyline. The ending got me looking forward to the next one. The only thing I did not like was the repetition of some of the puzzles. You seem to spend a lot of time going back and forth trying to solve one puzzle, then repeating it to solve the next. Other than that it was very ingenious and fun.
