I ordered these hooks because a regular old-fashioned coat hook uncurled itself (is that even possible?) after only about two years when I asked it to hold my old-fashioned (heavy) ironing board. These hooks are thick and clearly stout-hearted in the face of a heavy-duty ironing board.Easy to mount on a solid core door: Hold the hook where you want it; put a pencil in each hole to mark for position; put the hook down; drill pilot holes just a tad narrower than the supplied screws. Hold the hook up again where you can see the pilot holes; screw two screws in tight. Stand back and admire your work.If you want the hook on a sheetrock wall and expect it to hold a truly elderly ironing board or an overloaded backpack, you'll need to find longer screws that can go all the way through the wall and into a stud. If you are thinking coats and purses and half-empty backpacks, you can mount a hook anywhere on a wall using anchors that are supplied.I can't tell from the seller's description whether these hooks are made of iron or steel coated to look like iron. Either way, I'm not going to worry about hearing a thump in the middle of the night when the ironing board falls on the floor.

Thick metal, perfect for my use case. Used to hold thick EV charger cable along bottom of the garage wall. Used vice-grips to bend the hook to hold the cable better, they bent fine (with quite a bit of force) and weren't brittle. They'll definitely hold a bit of a load. Had a bonus 9th hook in the box.

Sturdy, nice coating and liked recessed countersink holes for the screws for a better appearance.

These sleek hooks should be well suited to a lot of locations and uses. They have a nice clean look, and they're effective for everything from hats to backpacks to towels. I found them easy to install. They include screws, a small rubber gasket, and a silver cap that matches the hook itself and hides the screws. The cap slides easily on the gasket and stays in place well, giving the hooks a finished look. These seem effective for a lot of uses, and have a nice look that will work well in more visible places.

I needed a sturdy hook to hold my purse in Mud Room as I came in/out. These hooks did the job because the hook is spread wider and will hold any of my purses’ handles. And hooks are not vey big or intrusive. Problem solved.

I made a coat rack out of barn wood and added these hooks. Very sturdy and completes the look I was after. Highly recommended. I did pre-drill the hole prior to using the enclosed screws.

I love how easy these are to use. I’ve ordered multiple boxes over the past year because I keep finding ways to use them. They’re small enough that I can use in small spaces, but substantial enough to hold heavier items. I use them for towels by an outdoor pool, in my craft closet to hold gift bags, wreaths, in my bathrooms to hold robes, closets to hold hats. So versatile.
