Lightweight, Easy to Use and Powerful
I bought this magnifying/light for traveling because it is small & lightweight compared to another one I have with a more heavier & bulkier one for home use (that one has a gooseneck which is not as packable as this one with a cord). Truthfully, this one is just as great as my other, more expensive one - but slightly less bright and not rechargeable (so I'll be taking extra batteries on my journey).

X25 Magnifier with light
I started using this magnifier for my crochet project. It is the most amazing thing. If you put a battery in, it lights up. I had to go back a few rows as I couldn’t find where I had made a mistake prior to using this. No more squinting or guessing! It really works. Give it a try! I am using it as I am typing here!! I have been using it for past 3 hours and no headache, no complaints. I watched a clip that a woman had posted here about how to put a battery in. I had no issues with putting in a battery. Remember shiny side down. I am going to purchase another one for my mom who is a sewer. I am sure she will appreciate it.

Does great!
Lately, I've bought several magnifying devices to help me get back into my embroidery and cross stich (24 & 32 count), and had to return them - but this one is a KEEPER! It allows me to use my needlework stand and sit up straight to work. At my age, the act of needlework being held in shaky hands and sitting all hunched over was taking all the joy away. Those previous devices were returned because they required the work be kept much too close to my face in order for the focus to be clear. But this one allows the work to be 18-22 inches away from my eyes, maybe even a little more since I use them while wearing reading glasses. Just what I needed. The only drawbacks were unwrapping the neck cord from the magnifier (It was tightly wrapped around the base and I'm a bit fumble fingered these days, something I hope to address by taking up needlework again, so this may be more to do with my old age), getting the two included type CR2016 batteries out of the tape they were sealed in (had to use scissors and then peel them out) and cram them into the device, and that little circle of higher magnification. It wasn't very handy for the distances I will use this..

I am very pleasantly pleased by how helpful this new tool is for working on very intricate beading and sewing work. It's great to be hands-free and to be able to move around to different areas at the same time. The added light makes it an even better work experience. It is adjustable, light-weight and easy to get used to. My 95-yr-old mother is testing it out now to see if it helps her reading/newspaper/puzzle interests. If it works for her, I will buy another.

Fantastic
LOVE this for reading tiny patterns! This magnifying glass and light is fantastic! Some magnifying glasses make me dizzy. They are larger, but almost blurry. This is exactly what I had hoped for. Not sure if you can tell in the photo, but it helps me see the pattern so much more clearly!! I also love the fact that I do not have to hold it, it sort of sits on my chest wherever I want to set it. The only drawback might be The length of battery power To be continued….

Magnifies great but devours batteries.
I use this for cross stitching. The lens is strong enough to significantly enhance my ability to see the cloth and pattern. The design works great for hands free sewing. And the LED lights do make seeing things much better. My main complaint is that it goes through the button batteries very quickly. If you’re a marathon user like me, doing a few hours a day, the batteries only last a couple of days before the light is too dim to be effective. I’ve resorted to fastening a rechargeable LED headlamp to the back of it and using that as a light source instead.
