absolutely no problems with this pan. I give it a spritz of oil (including the lid), and have never had a problem with the bread releasing.

This was the wife's purchase. We love this bread pan. You ready your dough, put it in the pan and close the lid. Let it rise before baking and when it's done you slide the lid off to reveal a perfect loaf for sandwich bread exactly like you'd get at the store. There's also a bread slicer somewhere on here you'll need to work with this. Perfect sandwiches, fits the meat without excess bread hanging off.

I just received this and have yet to use it, but almost didn't buy due to the reviews. It arrived undamaged even when packed with cans of food, and it is sturdy and has no sharp edges on the lid. Definitely does not look like it's non-stick but I use Crisco on my other pan anyway. The good price convinced me; I can't wait to use it! EDITED JULY 27 2025 I've used this pan a few times and I do like it, HOWEVER it is aluminized steel which does not fare well with automatic dishwasher soap. Hand wash only!

This is really nice for baking bread. The pan can a little scratched up but other than that, it did exactly what I wanted to do with my bread. Just make sure to put down some parchment paper due to the vent holes

Originally order a cheaper pan. It came dented and felt very flimsy and the lid wouldn’t slide smoothly. I returned and bought this one. So glad I did. The quality is so much better and the bread bakes wonderfully. The lid slides smoothly and no dents after half a dozen loaves

Bought this pan because my grandchildren love thin sliced pain de mie . The bakery where I was getting it no longer makes it and after a lengthy search I decided to try my luck with baking my own. I chose this pan because it made a 13" loaf (bread goes fast in our house when you make 3to 4 pb and J sandwiches per day!). Found a recipe on the internet that calls for potato flour, dried milk and milk; the bread turned out perfectly square, like a bakery loaf- maybe even better! If you butter the pan before baking the clean up is easy. The grandchildren are happy and so am I.

Love how this pan works. I make my dough in my bread machine and use this pan to get a nice commercial looking sandwich loaf.

This is the second time I used this pan and it was a disaster. The first time, I fortunately greased the pan to make sure the loaf would release easily and I got a beautiful loaf of bread. The second time (the same recipe) I mistakenly assumed that it is a non-stick pan, as advertised on amazon, so I did not coat the inside with butter. I was so disappointed with the result, with the bread sticking to the bottom and sides. I had to pry the bread from the pan just to get it to release and the pictures tell the sad story. You can make it work but make sure you grease the sides and bottom as it is not a quality non-stick pan. Note: I seasoned the pan before using too according to instructions but it did not make any difference.
