Good collection.
This collection is both awesome and a bit of a let down. It starts with a wonderful story called "Precognition" about General Hammond and how meeting SG-1 in 1969 makes him both question his sanity and gives him hope for the future. I really enjoyed this story and it set the bar very high for what I expected from the rest of the collection. Then I got to the next story, a confusing Atlantis tale called "Coterinouc(us)" that was written by Peter J. Evans, who also wrote my least favorite Atlantis book "Angelus" and got a bit worried. But those worries were all for nothing, as that was the low point. The best stories in my opinion are the aforementioned "Precognition" by Jo Graham, "Iron Horse" a great story about Ronon's adventures on Sateda and how he met his girlfriend Melena by Amy Griswold, and "Dude where's my spaceship?" a truly hilarious story about Jaffa lost on earth who come looking for Daniel, you'll laugh at least once, probably more I guarantee it, and "Hermiod's Last Mission" which will please Asgaurd fans, especially the ending. All the stories are great except for "Coternicio(us)" by Peter J. Evans, and "Kill Switch" by Aaron Rosenberg which are the two weakest entries, I just didn't particularly enjoy these as much as the rest. I have to say that the SG-1 entries are stronger, I liked them a lot. Only about half of the Atlantis ones are good, but they all felt a bit off.I can't compare this with the first short story collection, as I have not yet read all of it (I was saving it for a rainy day), but this is a great way to get your Stargate fix without having to read one of the full books if you don't want to.

Good reading
Though not quite as good as the first collection in the traveler series, Far Horizons, this is still both entertaining and interesting. Like Far Horizons, these stories fill in some of the gaps left before, between and after episodes in the TV series. I always say, "any Stargate is better than no Stargate," but this collection is way better than just any Stargate.

Enter the Stargate for the next set of adventures
The Travelers' Tales Volume Two: Points of Origin take us on ten different stories from all over the Stargate timeline. Beginning with a tale that shows us what George Hammond did after he was knocked out by SG-1 when they traveled back to the 1960's. Along the way we learn why O'nell never really wanted to leave the SGC and that the town that his cabin is in was taken by the Pipper from the old nursery rime. And we see Carters' first day as commanding officer of Atlantis and how she messed up by not trusting Shepherd and his team. We also learn why Dr. Frasier joined the air force and was delighted when she got to the job to the CMO of the SGC. There is also a tale about Ronon before he joined the Atlantis expedition where he meet the travelers who had stolen an object that the ancients had left to stop a fault line from destroying a village. This is a great anthology and one that I would recommenced for getting people interested in the Stargate Universe (Pun intended)

Amazing
The characters were as funny and engaging as always. The stories themselves were exciting and great to read whenever I had a few minutes.

Good for fans, not the best I've read.
Most of the stories were good, but I found a lot of them ended very abruptly. One step up from fanfiction.

A fun read.
Good short stories. Perfect rainy day relaxing book. Just watched the episodes play out in my brain. Well written and worth the money.

Word of thought!
Liked the short stories, some of the words I had to look up, not fun, slowed the story's down to much! Who were you trying to impress!

Points of origin
The stories are outstanding. I fully enjoyed reading each one of the stories and look forward to my next Stargate SG1 book.
