Neat toy, but noisy!
This is a neat little toy and I love that I can program it to run automatically and randomly during the day time (it won't come on at night!). But cats will be cats and of course mine didn't like this, so I'm handing it off to a friend. At first my cats were spooked by it because it's kind of noisy. Eventually they just disregarded it, like it was beneath them. I never saw them play with it over a 2 week period. It's nice that this comes with an extra feather, but unless your cat really goes to town on the feather, which they'd have to catch it first, I wouldn't expect you'd need the replacement feather anytime soon. Since this also comes with the batteries, it's kind of plug and play. My main complaint is that the colors of the light don't match the instructions, so it took me a few minutes to figure out which mode was which.

Unsafe and battery hungry
My cat loved this toy; however, it eats through AA batteries like crazy and is NOT for unsupervised play (we actually bought it to keep our Sphynx occupied while we were out). Our male was playing with it, trying to catch and swat at the feather and his nail became stuck in the crack near the feather hole where the top and bottom are snapped together. He was unable to get his paw loose until I came and freed it for him. We clip his nails every two weeks and do not allow them to become long. Had we not been home he could have been injured. We will be returning until we can find a better and safer option.

Good concept, but way too loud
This cat toy seemed to be of good quality, and in concept a fun toy for kittens and cats. Unfortunately it is very loud and the sound of the mechanism to change holes and pop the feather out is really annoying. My 7 month year old cat will bot go near it do to the load and to her terrifying sound. She handles other loud noises well and adapts and recognizes load sounds such as sirens, city workers lawn mowers etc. I try keeping her mind active and was hoping this would be another addition to growing list of toys, unfortunately I am returning ir.

Our cats give this a B-
We have two 1 year old cats, and one of them in particular loves to chase/hunt things that you hide under a rug or blanket. He likes it so much that he has started crying whenever we have the audacity to do anything other than play with him, so this toy seemed like a good way to keep him occupied. It was definitely a success. The cat that likes to chase lays in front of it and paws at it, it’s adorable. Don’t have any delusions though: it’s not going to keep your cat busy for hours, it’s just something fun for them to do for a little while.Another positive is that it’s shockingly well made for $10. I actually don’t understand how they’re making any money on this. It also seems pretty safe; I saw another review saying their cat’s claw got stuck but that’s got to be a pretty rare thing. It’s a little plastic stick with a bushy feather on the end, I don’t see anywhere that a claw could stick. The only knock I have against it is the noise. The motor inside is pretty loud, probably on par with an electric toothbrush, and by the third or fourth time you run the 8 minute cycle you’ll probably be ready to throw it out the window. Again, it’s $10, so the fact that it hasn’t caught on fire yet is impressive.Overall if your cats like to chase or hunt they’ll probably like this.

Good toy but too many holes
One kitty didn't care for it, the other sat and watched just one hole hoping, praying the birdlike attachment would show itself again (there are 6 holes); and the last kitty just wanted to kill the "bird" by any violent means. That said, it's a great toy for most cats and as always; playtime does need to be supervised.

Conversation piece for my cats
We have had this less than a week so I can't really speak to durability in the long run. My cats seem intrested in watching the little birdie peep out of if, but do not try to actually capture it. I'd say the purchase was a bust, but I have left it on the setting where it goes off every 4 hours for a minute or 2. This serves the purpose of at least getting my two elderly lap potatoes off the sofa every few hours to at least inspect the activity.

noisier than you may think
real quick: it arrived quicker than i thought, was in excellent condition, no mars or scratches and easy to understand instructions/packaging. so the seller gets points for that. but as for cat appeal?yes, it has a mouse-like squeaky noise to attract attention; but that noise in particular sounds like the toy itself could use some WD-40. i like that there are two noise settings (on/off), but the actual mechanics within the toy are pretty loud and seem to turn off our adult cats (ages 4 and 10). the younger one likes it every once in a while, but the sporadic movement is - idk, i guess - too sporadic? feels like the cats know it's not worth their hunter instincts. as for 3 settings...? seems like the 3 settings are squeaking, not squeaking, and off.can't fault the manufactures entirely - this is just life with a cat. drop $10-20 on some lovely, seemingly-good-idea cat recreation, but cat would rather go hard with a ball of tinfoil smh

Flawed And Noisy
I think my item arrived flawed and speculating it’s from a return because the automatic timer designed to automatically turn on does NOT work. Also it is very NOISY!The pros - my ragdoll loves itI wouldn’t recommend purchasing, unfortunately. Too late to return and I tossed out the box upon arrival. Wish I could get a full refund on this one!

I WISH my cat enjoyed it...
It's such a well built and great idea!Sadly my cat kept grabbing the plastic bag and box it came in and putting it next to the device instead 🙄🙈I really wish she enjoyed it, she is extremely active andI'm surprised a plastic bag and box out perform the toy because it looks like it should be entertaining for the cat and is very easy to use mode wise...This is the only reason I cannot give it 5 stars. If she used it absolutely, but it could just be her and not the product.
