C or D is wide. Widths are measured different for mens, womens, and kids sizes. The more standardized widths run like this: AAA, AA, A, B, C, D, E, EE, to EEE, starting narrower and ending wider. A "D" width is a mens "medium", but a womens "wide". So, a "medium" in womens is a "B", which would be a "narrow" in mens. **Q: I purchased these boots on 11/14/16; size 7, price 81.10.
