Sunlite Pedal Blocks Orange/Black

These are such a great idea! I bought for my grandson because we ordered a drift trike, but unfortunately it was too big... which is where these block extenders came into play. They're a great idea, unfortunately weren't quite enough for our needs. But will definitely be great once he grows a little bit more. Only thing I wish is that they made different size options with this brand... (maybe they do with other brands). Overall, this is a great product... such a simple idea, and is extremely helpful to those who are slightly vertical challenged. Would highly recommend!

I wanted something to be able to use the bicycle at the gym (yes I put the seat all the way down but I'm still too short to reach the pedals) I wanted something easy to slip on and slip off when I'm done. These aren't stretchy like that. They seem good otherwise.

Bought to use with Exerpeutic Folding Magnetic Upright Exercise Bike. I'm short and wanted to make the bike a little more comfortable. But I could not figure out how to attach these in a way that would be easy to put on and remove when other family members want to use the bike. That's no fault of the product. It was a gamble anyway. But I do still think there's a way to do it, especially if you don't need to take them off. These pedal extensions are solid, well built and look easy to install on a regular pedal (especially using YouTube to see someone do it).

I purchased these blocks to mount on a Schwinn tricycle for our granddaughter. The blocks fit loosely on the pedals and tend to shift when she applies foot pressure. There is no adjustment for the rubber straps. One option to secure the blocks is drill and bolt, which I'm not anxious to do since these are a temporary application (until the child's feet reach the pedals without assist). The other option is to keep pushing them back onto the pedal when they start to wiggle off (better option).

Purchased these for my 10 year old son as he was just too short to use his new drift bike that we got him for his birthday. So far they have worked great! The product arrived in good condition and there was no wear or tears in the rubber surrounding the blocks (as others have stated). Installation was a little challenging as these are designed to have a tight fit on the pedals, it took me about 5 minutes to install both extensions and part of that was trying to figure out how to keep the pedals still while working the blocks in place. Overall I would recommend this product to anyone looking to get a better fit on their bike.

Two problems I saw with these: 1) they slide, so when you put pressure on the block it slides forward on the pedal. 2) after installing, the pedal is basically a square block. While testing, unless I kept my foot in an optimal position, the whole thing tended to rotate under my foot. If you were standing up and the pedal rolled out from under your foot, you could get seriously injured. Guys, you know what I mean! Note: To the inevitable company rep who will post a comment that I did not have it installed correctly . . . nope! I watched the video and install as instructed. I even tried installing the block the long way across the pedals. I fixed problem #1 by duck-taping the blocks to the pedals and then adding the rubber sleeve, but then one wonders why not just take 2 pieces of wood and do that in the first place to save the $$. Problem #2 was insurmountable short of adding a foot strap, which was too much trouble frankly.

WE bought a bike for our daughter and she loves it. only problem? The peddles were to far down. These sunlite pedal blocks did the trick and she absolutely loves her bike. I can't thank these people at Sunlite enough for this great product. Easy to install and great product.

My kid does not like biking with these. He can't reach the pedals without them but hates using them and will choose any other bike than this one. They spin around and around because of the added weight, which might be part of the reason he doesn't like them.

Tried these. Made the pedals too heavy on one side, fell off during pedalling and the pedals kept turning and I almost broke my shin bone. I had a cut across my shin and a dent in my leg! Severe pain and bruising. No idea if I was using them right or not but I tried everything. A waste of £19.99.

Very simple product to use. Also very good value.
