Leather Desk Mat & Mate 24" x 15" Non-Slip Smooth Writing Desk Pad Protective Mat Protector Mouse Pad for Desktops and Laptops (Brown)

This was already a replacement for the first one I received which came with a crease that ran from one end to another, keeping the mat from laying completely flat. The mat looks classy, love the dark gray color, but from the beginning it never laid completely flat on my desk. Then everyday, just after 2-3 hours of my laptop sitting on top, the edges come up even higher, high enough that pieces of paper and sometimes pens can get shoved underneath. Annoying. My Lenovo emits VERY LITTLE HEAT. For the price of this mat, I expected better quality. As mentioned, this was a replacement and Amazon does not give me an option to return this replacement. Otherwise, I would.

I really really like this leather desk mat. I was trying to decide between the Satechi Desk Mat & Mate and this one. I chose this one and am very happy.The Satechi Desk Mat & Mate had a lot of reviews (like 500+) with a 4.5 rating. This had 5 reviews, all at 5 stars. I was a little hesitant because there were just so few reviews. But if you are reading this, get it! It is great!!! There is a logo in the bottom right corner, but it is just indented into the leather, and is the same color as the mat. The Satechi one was a little bit smaller, but was a white stamp. I like mine better because it is much less noticeable.I have a glass top desk and this doesn't slide AT ALL!!! I try and move it and it won't budge. There is a great anti-slip bottom.It is very firm, but has more give than the glass top. So you can easily write on it with pen or pencil even with only one piece of paper.The only downside, is that it is not really black, but more of a really dark gray/charcoal. It is still really nice, but I have a black monitor, mouse, and speakers, so the gray is a little bit more noticeable. But it is nothing to worry. It is GREAT!!

The texture in the product photos are exaggerated . The actual product has a very subtle texture that you can barely see. If you're buying this based on it's aesthetics, I wouldn't recommend it. It's not a very attractive piece compared to what you see in the photos.It's quite soft, which is nice on the wrists if you're using this under your keyboard. I quite enjoy the way it feels.It's too expensive for what it is. Definitely not worth the money for the low-grade leather.Not much else to say about it.

I bought this mat to replace my Satechi Mat & Mate whose edges curled up. I liked that this mat was the same size as the Satechi--small enough to fit on a small desk, large enough to support a mouse, keyboard, and cup of coffee. This mat came well packaged and lays perfectly flat and seems to have enough grip on the bottom to not move around. The texture is extremely smooth, almost like a soft touch finish. I would have liked a little texture. It does not look or feel like real leather; I think it is a vinyl simulated leather. Unfortunately, I will not be able to use it because my Logitech MX Master mouse does not track well on it. In addition to the drag created by the very smooth finish, something about the subtly printed pattern on the mat confuses the sensor, and my cursor jumps around the screen. I have not seen that with any other surface.

I loved this desk mat when I got it. Looks great on my desk and I use it daily. I spilled a little water on it and it left bad water stains that won’t come off. Now it looks bad and not something I want sitting on my desk in me office. Very disappointing as it really looked good. Only a couple of months in, there are air bubbles showing on the corners, peeling has started on the sides. It scratches easily, even from things you'd expect to put on it for normal use - like the lift pads on the back of a wireless ergonomic keyboard (and I have a good wireless keyboard with cushioned pads under it). I would've returned it but my "time to return" has passed. I am going to check with Amazon if this product is covered under any sort of warranty and can be returned.

This is one of my favorite recent purchases --- perfect size, perfect texture and perfect look. I use a full-size mac wired keyboard + a Logitech gaming mouse with plenty of room to spare.It has also proven robust to the occasional water dripping onto the mat from a "sweaty" water glass (I always immediate wipe the mat off).Very happy with this purchase.

This thing is PURE QUALITYThe leather is the real deal it's stiff to where it doesn't even droop under it's own weight, and has great grip!I have the MX Master 2s by Logitech that works on any surface, so i don't have any tracking problems on this or any surface it's ever come across. Everyone who has sat at my desk asks where I got the desk mat.
