Broken Pin
Tool worked as expected but my pin for the tool broke in less than 2 days. Don't know if the pin in the fob was somehow just not designed to be removed or what, but the pin from the tool broke. But I was able to remove a pin from a fob before it broke. I would like to get a replacement pin for the tool.

Useless
As many people have said, the magnets are not preinstalled. I gently tried one key and the pin instantly broke and sent the key flying. This thing is garbage. I ended up using a straight Harbor Freight pick out of their orange handled pick set. Worked perfectly.

Works on roll pins only
Does not fit newer spline type pins. Only thinner roll pins. Removes pins easily However the removal pin breaks easily. The jaws are not aligned perfectly so it will push the pins at an angle if you are not careful. Otherwise works as designed.

Great when used properly
I purchased this tool for our parts department at a KIA dealership after they successfully managed to destroy yet another key fob while trying to install a key shank. It works well when used properly and not as a bigger hammer. That being said they managed to break one of the pins within a week. Luckily they are replaceable and am ordering replacements now. The holes in the center are not big enough for some of the newer fob pins but removing pins is a snap now.The four stars is only because the magnets it included were not attached to anything just stuck to the side of the tool. and no extra pins but definitely good for the price

Charged $80, when now it’s $30, and broke 2 probes in a few uses and bent
It broke after some uses and the spare ones it came with are pretty trash. Not a reliable product and they just lower it like there’s no tomorrow, not recommended and he doesn’t do anything to issue any partial refund and just gives me a blank stare basically. Stay away and get a different car fob tool! Trash
