All in all this is a very pretty bed - the fabric is nice, and it looks great assembled.However, there have been a few issues I have been trying to get in touch with the warranty and shipping departments to remedy.First off, this very large bed was delivered to a different house a couple blocks away. I got notification that it was delivered and signed for on a Friday evening. I checked my home and our neighbor's home and saw no large box. A couple hours later a gentleman knocked on our door asking if I ordered a bed and that it had been delivered to his home, a few blocks away, by mistake. He knew to knock on my door only because the label correctly stated our address. Also, he did not sign for this package. My husband and I both have small cars, and to get this large box out of the rain we had to lift it onto the roof of my car, i had to drive slow as my husband walked beside the car holding the box.When we got the box home it had quite a few large holes in it, but there was no damage where the holes were. As I pulled everything out of the box there were two damaged pieces, one was a severely bent bracket, but we were able to find a new bracket to replace it. However, the piece I would like a replacement for has a large hole in the upholstery plus some velvet that looks 'melted' together. This piece (as seen in the photo) is in a super visible location and I would really like a replacement piece for it.The bed took 3-4 hours for one person to assemble. The bed has 4 decorative/supportive legs on each corner + 4 supportive legs that are hidden. The bed was delivered in one large box. There are many pieces in the back of the headboard (it has black fabric on the back and Velcros on all sides, so it is not finished with the velvet material). When assembling the metal support bars make sure the side with most holes is face up (toward the ceiling). Overall, it looks really nice once it is all put together.

I love the design of this bed but unfortunately when I received the item the velvet fabric had scratches on it on the front and on the headboard side. I saw past it because the bed is honestly beautiful. Now a month in and the frame that held the mattress fell apart as I laid on it. This is honestly a completely fail in product. Not only did it arrive damaged but within a month it fell apart. I ordered a new metal bed frame and it didn’t fit because of the weird awkward the feet are framed in this bed. After a day of trying to figure out with the drill and a few zip ties we made it work. Honestly no one should be going through this trouble for a bed. I was offered to return it and they will come pick it up but unfortunately with CODVI-19 I am not risking someone coming in my home to take a bed. Because I’m assuming if they come to pick it up they also take it apart. But I’m limited into getting a new bed during this criss since everything is closed so I unfortunately lose but the upside we made it work by spending an extra 160 in a new metal bed frame.Update: I wish I can add a picture of the broken wood on the bed frame and the fabric issues but for some reason I don’t have that option to add a picture now.

It was a long process to assemble. I have ordered several frames over the years and none of them were as difficult as this one.For $700, I also didn’t expect this frame to be as cheaply made as it is. I now regret not purchasing one from a furniture store and spending a few hundred dollars more.The support legs are now bent, and it will no longer work as a platform bed. I have never been so displeased with any furniture I’ve purchased from Amazon. 10/10 would not recommend!!!

Bed is literally snapping apart! I don’t weigh a lot and I am, unfortunately, not currently very “active” in bed. I had this bed professionally put together and after 2 months a slat or two falls out nightly. It makes the worst squeaking noises too because it is no longer stable. Literal nightmare.

I had a Saturday set aside to do the unthinkable: put together this king-sized monster all by myself. I had to use a couple of chairs to brace the headboard and keep it from falling face down...and a barstool to hold it in place from the back...but once stable, it was the easiest set-up I've ever done. Of course it took me some time (doing it by myself). But it was easy as pie. Only thing...some of the letters were missing from the parts board. Particularly the big "z" washers...which you will need immediately to put together the headboard. Just remember that...and the rest is easy-breezy. And now the finished product: Rock Solid and BEAUTIFUL! It doesn't move, it doesn't creak, it doesn't shake. And once you lock those locknuts and bolts in place, that frame is like the chassis of GM truck: it does not move. The slats are pretty solid too! I really like the way they actually "snap" into place, as opposed to the slats on previous beds which come in an accordion-style cord...which can shift from time to time. These can't go anywhere, because the weight of the mattress (and you) are holding them in place. I ordered the Dream Cloud Premium King Hybrid mattress (107 pounds). I weigh about 190. So the 900 pound weight max for these slats is not even a factor..(even if I had 2 or 3 two-hundred pound people join me (NOT). Overall, I think this is one of the best bedding products out there. I even liked the hidden parts and tool chest inside the headboard: it's velcro'd in there. Thought I was ripping the cover off the back of the headboard, because of this red tape attached to a bag. Turns out, it was supposed to be pulled (from the bottom up) to reveal all you need to put the bed together. And once done, you simply put the velcro cover back on. They thought of everything. I love this bed. And I give it a 5-plus!

I had the grey bed in my basket and the price went up $150, so I got the blue option and it is gorgeous! Solidly built, quality fabric and efficiently packaged, this bed is better than I thought! I have a 12.5 inch queen mattress and it fits nicely. I put it together on my own and it took a couple of hours.

The shipment was very heavy so be prepared especially if you have stairs- I'm in a 4th story walk up. Good instructions. Looks great. The soft velvet is lovely. Two pieces were missing from the shipment. Two of the crossbars didn't arrive causing it to bow out a bit. A rearranging of the 3 included has helped. Will contact the very accessible customer service rep and am hoping the two pieces labelled "F" can be sent along easily.
