Update on Mar 24, 2021:I finally have to replace the battery. It didn't die but it's no longer usable. I ordered an replacement from Replace UPS Battery with two year warranty on Aug 2019. That went bad on Nov 2020. Contacted them. With a few checks and they sent me a replacement. It lasts almost four years. That's very good. My other CyberPower unit, 850 AVR still rocking the original battery. I think it's probably 10+ years on it ^_* I just love CyberPower.Update on Jan 29, 2019:It's almost three years since ordering. I have no complaints. I have a few short brown out and it keeps the devices running. There was one very long brown out, it ran for the duration and turns off when the juice went out. When power came back, it recharges the battery. No issues.APC's battery always go out at 3-year mark. You have to replace the battery constantly - it means spending money and time to get replacement, recycle the old one on a regular cycle. CyperPower, set and forget. It's my go to brand.Original review on February 2, 2017:This is a replacement battery only. The battery in my old UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) CyberPower 685 AVR died. It won't event allow non battery socket to be used without a good battery.The replacement arrived in 7 days from order. It was shipped across US from CA to GA. It could be a bit faster but can't complain about it. It's drop-shipped from vendor. It did not come directly from Amazon warehouse. However, it was packaged very well and arrived safely.The battery installed fine. It works well. I let it charged over night before using the UPS. It has been in service more than 9 months since purchase.This is OEM, not generic replacement and it comes with 18 months warranty. After 9 months of trouble free, I felt it will last longer than 18 months. I have used many CyberPower and APC UPS. APC's battery always dies after 3 years of service. On the other hand, I have excellent experiences with CyberPower. The 850 AVR has being serving me many years (much more than 3) and I have not replace the battery. It saved me from several sudden power outage during thunderstorm while providing enough power to save my work. After so many years of service, it still is charged 100% at all time - crossing my fingers. :)My experience with Cyber Power gave me great confidence with their UPS and their batteries.

Perfect for cyberpower 685avr. It did take some time to get the plug off one side of old battery but once it was off the replacement was super easy to put in.

Perfect replacement for my 685AVR.Fixed the issue I had where the UPC was cycling on/off constantly when turned on. Full install time was less than 5 minutes.

After 10 years of solid service my UPS finally died. I dreaded the search to find a new one. But when I typed the Model# in at Amazon, Boom! Up popped a replacement battery! Didn't know I could do that myself. Ordered it. 2 days later I unplugged the UPS,unscrewed 6 screws, disconnected the old battery, popped in the new one and closed the case. Plugged it in, added all my "toys" to plugs and was once again protected from electrical surges & outages!So far the battery has worked great. Charged to full charge quickly.

Replacement battery stopped charging after only four months. This means that only 4 of 8 plugs on my power cord could be used. The other plugs being linked to the rechargeable battery could not be used. When purchased through Amazon, you are only given 30 days to return a defective product.After thirty-day, any and all warranty issues must be handled by the manufacturer directly so there really is no advantage for purchasing this item through Amazon.Furthermore, if you request a warranty replacement (refunds are not available), the manufacturer generally requires you to return the old battery (which weighs about 5lbs) at your own expense. (It was as difficult to find this contact number online as it is to find a direct contact number for Amazon's customer service, assuming you choose not to get up a customer service call back online with Amazon.)

Liked for UPS battery power.

Quick shipment. The battery is not exactly the same size as the original I replaced but it fit the car bracket and didn't rattle after installation. Seems to work just fine as the dashboard alert has not reappeared and everything is working; it's too early to comment on longevity.
