My husbands VERY allergic to the feline folks, and of course I am a completely lover of all things creature so we needed a way to fix things. We finally met the right match with a Siberian Forest Cat who came into the local shelter and low and behold, did NOT aggravate the Hubbies allergies!...as badly as usual lolHe still had the itchy and watery eyes, itchy, stuffy and red nose, scratchy throat and swollen glands, even his skin itched - which again, is nothing compared to the usual, so we were excited! I'm sure to wipe the house down once a day when we get home from work though sweet Sully tends to stay at his window's and in the dog beds most of the time.This soap has helped soooooooooo much! Nothing but itchy skin remains (for the Hubby) after applying the shampoo to Sully who though isn't the happiest boy when he has to give it, we've been reapplying every two weeks, though like other's our bottle had a 2 week expiration date window, we paid the money for it so will use it anyway and just up it to once a week if we have too.Love this soap so much! It seems to be safe for him to lick, and doesn't leave him very crunchy - his fluff normally puff's back up by the next day once it's dried and we've brushed then he's done his own grooming. Makes him sell pretty nice too and his coat looks so clean and shiny! Bonus points all around :)Only qualm AT ALL is the fact that it delivered with a two week expiration date.On another note, we did also purchase an Ivation HEPA Air filter for an extra boost of allergen help - it seems to work nicely, if anything than for at least the dog farts lol

Miracle for my husband, my dog and wallet!! Both my dog and husband have allergies. Dog has dust mite allergies (so bad that I thought I had to put him down to end his suffering after spending thousands in medical bills) my husband is allergic to our dog. I went to a pet store one day and they had it in their clearance table. Read up on it and said to myself "might as well try another thing, just in case" that clearance table changed all of our lives!!! My dog no longer breaks out, he is finally pearly white with a full set of hair!! The hair took about a week to come start growing but within 2 days he stopped shedding and stopped smelling too. I think that the allergic reaction was causing his skin to pungently smell like dirty dog even when he took a bath every 2 days with medicated shampoo.The application: when starting I washed my dog and then I applied every night very thoroughly to every part of my dog for a week, then I applied every 3 nights until washed him. After first wash, Then I apply 2 nights back to back, then every 3 nights.The results: noticed NO smell on my dog's coat or my house. Now I can wash him once a month or sooner when necessary if he runs through Mudd. He used to be on high alert from the discomfort, now he sleeps all night!! My husband no longer needs to take Allegra, and I'm just so happy that they are happy and I don't have to wash him and his bed every 2 days (can't believe I was doing that) clean up less hair now, no smell like dog and my wallet has more to gain!!

So far so good! used it on our short haired cat today after it arrived in the mail, had my cousin test to see if it works because he is allergic to cats, and he didnt break out or get itchy from the cat! only issue is that i know after the next application to my cats (used a different brand on the other cat) that i will have to get a new bottle or find a giant jug of this stuff lol.Next step is to clean down the rest of my home with the dander blocker stuff i bought and bring my dog home to see if it works on keeping the dander allergen from her.

I used this in conjunction with the air and surface spray. Impossible to say if you need both or not since I have always used them together but I'm a 'better safe than sorry' type. I will say, the cats do not love it, but I wasn't surprised by that. It does make their hair a little crunchy for a bit afterward. Brushing them a bit once it dried fixed that.

Haven't tried it yet but am reluctant to write a better review until the cat and I have given it a good try. The package instructions are a bit misleading and vague. It is called shampoo but one would think a shampoo would require rinsing. One of the package warnings says: keep out of reach of children and pets to avoid unintended consumption. Well, duh, would the cat drink it when it is already "wearing" the product. But my biggest complaint so far is that it contains fragrance!!!!! What cat needs to smell "pretty". And the product was Allergist Developed. Obviously that means to cover any adverse effects (a product come-on but also a legal loophole in case of any toxic substances in it). Gee, what did the allergist try it on - which animal? Also, the shipping package was very inadequate - inside of soft bubble-pack envelope was wet, giving me a first and negative smell of the product. Now I'm not sure if I want to try it on the cat for her scent approval or that I get to smell that fragrance on her. I'd think a good rubbing down with a damp cloth would have the same effect.

The name says it all! This stuff is a miracle! I am allergic to kitties, and love them anyway. So, when my kiddos came home with a kitten, I was a bit afraid we couldn't keep him. But we put this stuff on him, and all was well! I have recommended this product to several friends since, and let the kids get another kitty to be his friend. Ever two weeks, when my eyes start to itch a bit we put it on the cats, and we are good to go. They don't in particularly like getting the foam put on, but they get over it.

I use this along with a spray on the carpets and furniture and haven't had a problem with allergies with my new kitten yet. My roommate also has allergies and hasn't had a problem so I think it works. He is young (3 months) so it's hard to say if he doesn't cause allergies as much yet or if the product really works, but hey no allergies is no allergies!I use it every 2 weeks or so. Dries fast and doesn't seem to bother the cat. I like this stuff and will purchase again.

Well this is a really great product! Doesn’t have much of a scent, very fresh smelling! I washed both my cats and one of my cats decided to sleep on my Husbands shoulder, who has allergies to them. Usually the husband will start sneezing right away but he decided to put this shampoo to the test. It works. He didn’t sneeze or have any side effects.
