Great Protection and Very Easy to Use
I bought this cover for my Briggs & Stratton Storm Responder 6500, and it has been a great addition. Assembly was quick and straightforward. There was no complicated setup, and it was ready to go in just a few minutes. The design is well thought out and fits nicely over the generator while still allowing for easy access when needed. The material feels very durable and high quality. It does a great job protecting the working parts of the generator from rain and the elements, which is exactly what I was looking for. One of the biggest advantages is that it can be used while the generator is running during a storm or, so everything stays protected when you need it most. Based on the build quality, I expect this to hold up well for years. I also really like the flap design. The flaps are secured with velcro straps, which keep everything in place, but they can easily be rolled up when you need access to the outlets, controls, or for refueling. That makes it very convenient to use without constantly removing the cover. Overall, this is a simple, effective solution for protecting your generator while keeping it accessible and usable in bad weather. Definitely worth it if you want to keep your generator in good condition and ready to go!

Quality Quality Quality
I made a mistake and bought a cheaper generator cover and it almost blew up my generator. The flap covering the exhaust port fell down while running and the generator overheated to the point that the gas was boiling. Learn from my mistake and buy this cover instead of a cheaper cover. It is quality from the go! It has an easy to assemble frame that creates an air space around the generator. It has metal hooks to keep the side flaps that must stay open while running securely open. The cover material is heavy duty, rain and snow proof, and top quality. The instructions for assembly and use are top notch and provide details that make assembly very easy. I absolutely love this cover and expect years of use in all types of inclement weather. Get that generator out of your garage and cover it with a top notch RUNNING cover like this one from IGAN. (It was a perfect fit for my Craftsman 5600 gas and wheeled generator)

Instructions missing one critical step
I have to say (based on 1 day's experience) that this seems a quality product, well designed and well thought out. It takes a few moments to get inside the head of the writer who laid out the assembly instructions, but overall the illustrations are straightforward and reasonably comprehensive. Obviously I can't address durability as I've only had the cover for one day. The materials appear to be heavy duty and quality so if the customer reads the operating instructions it should last very well. But... There is one flaw in the assembly instruction sequence. Once you've assembled the aluminum tube framework the next step shown is to anchor it via the supplied zip-ties to the frame surrounding your generator. Having done that and moving on to hanging the side panels of the cover, I found that two of the longitudinal frame tubes were spaced too far apart to accommodate the velcro flaps that are supposed to wrap around the tubing. No mention is made in the instructions that it's possible to adjust the bar spacing properly to ensure their positioning doesn't interfere with the velcro flap securing. Since the framework and velcro locations are known dimensions, the instructions should indicate the exact measurement between tubes---PRIOR---to securing the frame with the zip ties. Other than that "nit" I'm satisfied with my purchase and the quality of the product. It fits my WGen7500DF with room to spare.

Excellent engineering; great assembly manual
I am quite impressed with several things about this generator cover. Although I have only had it for about a month, I believe it will be very durable. It seems to be made of better material than the cover that came with the generator as well as the usual grill covers, etc. Secondly, the engineering behind the cover is impressive. It is obvious that a lot of thought has gone into it, and that engineering continues. For example, earlier reviews mentioned using tape to hold the various pieces together during assembly. The frame pieces now screw together, eliminating the need for tape and making assembly easier than described by earlier customers. Thirdly, the assembly manual is without question the best I can remember ever seeing. It is clearly illustrated with high-quality photos and clear descriptions. It is a refreshing change from some other companies that use poorly-translated manuals or documentation that is clearly an afterthought. You do need to read and follow the manual, as assembly is not necessarily intuitive, but it is made much easier by the clarity of the instructions. Fourth, I like the fact that the cover can be left on during generator operation, giving some protection to the electrical connection during rain or snow events. Most covers probably have to be removed when the generator is running, but this one can be left in place, with three sides rolled up for airflow and one side down over the electrical outlets. I can only mention two potential downsides to the product: First, I agree with posters concerned about rainwater pooling on the flat top, possibly leading to intrusion through the cover, or discoloration, or possibly even mosquito breeding potential. I wish it had some sort of slope built in for better water shedding. In fairness, that issue was mentioned in previous reviews and was clear in the photos, so I bought the cover with full knowledge of that potential, so I have no real complaint. Second, the frame supporting the cover uses some plastic fittings (presumably to reduce the size of the shipping box) to connect frame pieces. Two of the T-fittings in my shipment came with splits in the plastic on one leg of the fittings (photo). I assembled and used it anyway, and haven’t noticed that the splits affect anything, but I am uncertain about the long-term durability of those plastic fittings, particularly during cold weather. Time will tell. Overall, I recommend the cover for a generator stored outdoors.

Great Quality, Coverage & Protection
This generator cover works really well! The coverage is excellent and it was very easy to install. The material has a nice thickness to it and feels like great quality, not thin or flimsy. It provides excellent dust protection when we’re not using the generator, and I’ve been impressed with its wind resistance as well. It stays secure and gives us peace of mind that our generator is well protected. Very happy with it and would definitely recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

High quality compact generator cover
There are no Cons to this cover, but I will list the things that may make a difference to those who think they should get instant gratification. This is not a 10 minute, unpack it, throw it over the generator, roll it back in the shed deal. By time you read the instructions, which are decent, but could be better, lay out the parts, put the frame together, attach it to the generator and the figure out how to actually (I will tell you how later) put the cover on the frame and add in some practice time for polishing up on some of your not safe for company language, about two hours will have past, but you will feel good when you see the finished product. Now for the helpful hints, When you put the pipe frame together, put a wrap of either electrical or friction tape around each connection as you go. I read somewhere that IGAN was solving this by putting indents in the pipe joints so they stay together. The tape holds it together and still leaves it flexible so it lays over the generator frame. Next the Velcro strips that hold the frame of the cover to the generator frame are not well thought out by IGAN. They have a pull through slot, but you can't pull them tight and then pull it back the opposite direction which holds the connection tight while you secure the Velcro as they put the Velcro hook on the same side of the strap as the loop, so you have to either twist the strap to hook it, which will work or just pull it tight and hold the tab with your thumb to keep it tight while you hook it. You can use zip ties, but make sure that you you keep the tabs down so they can't cut the cover. Next is attaching the cover. This attaches with the Velcro flaps and straps. This is really strong Velcro and if you have old arthritic hands like I do, you will need a couple of pairs of pliers to pull open the flaps and the straps. Be careful with the straps, because if you just give them a rip, you will pull then out. Work them open slowly. The rest is easy, just place the cover over the generator, making sure that the swing up section of the top is over the end where the tank filler cap is, then just pull the straps and flaps tight around the pipe frame and secure the Velcro. The cover adds very little to the storage space that the generator takes up, so when you aren't using it, it works as a cover. The side that covers the electrical panel can remain down during operation. The other three flaps roll up and have hooks to secure them. If you have to run the generator in severe weather you can pull the flaps out on a 45 degree angle and have sufficient ventilation for the motor and generator, but you would have to devise your own method of holding them there, such as stakes in the ground to attach them to. I don't think it adds much to noise suppression. It is a tough cover that should last a long time, even if it is left outside in the sun. It doesn't add storage height or is susceptible to high winds, like a tent cover is. It will give you peace of mind when your generator has to run in a driving rain or snow storm. Nothing is perfect, but I think this IGAN generator cover is well engineered, and a good value.

Excellent cover with one caveat.
Great cover. Excellent design and materials. One warning though. I have the Generac 8000e. With the frame installed, there’s no way to lift the handles to roll the unit. Luckily I rarely need to do so.

Quality fit, material, and workmanship.
Westinghouse 11000 TFc tri-fuel: I hear tell a picture is worth a thousand words. With the excellent manual picture guide and instructions, I had no problems assembling the gen cover. At seventy-three years old, I took my time, and in 1.5 hours the cover installed perfectly. At four of the frame stress points, in addition to the Velcro straps, I added a nylon zip tie with the cut edge downward to prevent any punctures, just for giggles. This cover is well thought out, and the material seems to be very durable. Following the instructions, I made sure the cover flap on the side of the handle was not reversed before I started Velcro fastening, and the top cover was positioned correctly to refuel with gas (I use only propane). If avoidable, I do not intend to operate the generator in the rain for obvious reasons. But it appears this cover will allow safe operation in a surprise rain shower. This is a very convenient two-in-one cover that suits my needs, with a fair price, a lot cheaper than buying or building a generator shed.

Great product
I just purchased this cover for my Champion 11250 generator and received it the next day. The cover is of great quality and the installation was very easy. Those instructions are the best I have seen in a long time. Clear English and great pictures. The cover fits perfectly and is very sturdy on the generator. I ran the generator yesterday to see how the cover would work. It is easy to open (and to keep open with the hooks) and does not interfere with the operation of the generator at all. I am very happy with the purchase.

Great Protection
I have a Powerhouse inverter generator and have been looking for a solid cover for some time now. We've tried tarps, makeshift covers or anything simple to protect it. Sure there are several covers on the market, however, many of them are made very cheap. This cover (although pricy) is very well made. The cover's material is the big selling feature. It's well made, thick and seems like it should last some time. The frame is "ok" though. It's nice and lightweight, but the poles are made of very thin metal and the plastic components are tight and easy to crack if you aren't careful with your assembly. A gentle touch is recommended here. Although my particular generator was not on their list of models, it still suits it quite well. As you can see from the photos, there is a decent overlap on each end. This is particularly useful for the exhaust side as it is far enough away to not heat up the material. The control side is still easily accessed and the overlap is helpful here for any larger extensions that you may have protruding. It keeps them covered from the elements. You can easily fold the flaps back down over an extension without it propping up the flap. The top flaps fold up on either side to access your fuel port. I'm lucky that mine is offset and not directly in the center as this cover doesn't allow for easy access to center fuel caps. All the other flaps fold up nicely and are easily secured in place with the included hooks. The velcro is also quite strong keeping everything in line. There is a more expensive version of this cover and after looking more closely the only difference is that it includes tie down ropes and stakes to secure in strong wind. You can easily make your own and save a few bucks. The cover does go on sale once in a while. It is an expensive cover when you compare it to other options out there, however, this one is well made and has several nice touch options that make it worth the price. Overall, if you're looking for a solid cover that will protect your expensive generator from the elements for years to come, this is the one to pick. Pros: Thick, protective material Easy to assemble/disassemble Can fit or adjust to pretty much any type of generator. They include several velcro straps to tie down the frame to your generator Cons: Frame is very lightweight and easy to bend Plastic components crack easy if you force too much (just assemble carefully) Generators with center fuel caps will be more difficult to fill

Works as advertised.
Item received was as advertised. Booklet enclosed provided easy to follow instructions in order to assemble frame and competed assembly in under 25 minutes. Packaging of item was very good. Only issue I have with the overall item is that the Velcro fasteners are a bit too short to tie down cover to frame as indicated in instructions. As such, I utilized small plastic zip ties and those ensured the cover is attached to the frame and generator in the manner suggested in instruction booklet and I'm confident that these will hold the cover in frame regardless of the weather I use my generator in. Overall, I am, to date, very satisfied with the purchase I completed of this generator cover.
