BOSCH HS1927 9 In. Tamper Plate Spade SDS-max Hammer Steel

Good quality and nicely machined spade (rod). Odd to mate it with the lower quality tamper plate but it works.

Sturdy for tamping with an SDS plus tool.Very good.

All web descriptions I saw for HS1927 described it as 12" long so I was surprised that the part I received was only 9" long and labeled as such. I called Bosch and after some investigation the customer service rep confirmed that the HS1927 was formerly 12" long but new production was changed to 9" starting in 2013. She had no explanation for why the change was made. I would think the longer version would be more comfortable to use in most situations, but I have not tried it yet.

Too small for my 14.0A Demolition Jack Hammer.

Solid build, arrived as expected.

It goes in the plate tamper and works just fine. Quality is what you would expect of a Bosch product. 'nuff said. Of course you need the plate that goes with it, sold separately.

Clearly says it's a 12" shank, it measures 8.5". They need to update the posting.Appears to be quality but I won't know for a bit as I needed the 12" shank.

This shaft is good for the taper base it is designed for. The only draw back is that it is a pressure fit into the base and remove for store is almost impossible.

Too short. You need to bend down to use the jackhammer. Not very good for your back.

The shank should have been slightly longer. Otherwise does the job. The tamper plate fits nicely.
