L’Oréal Paris Makeup True Match Super-Blendable Liquid Foundation, Porcelain W1, 1 Fl Oz,1 Count

I have very fair skin, on the verge of pure white. Almost all liquid foundations are a bit too dark for me, and leave an uneven 'shadowey' appearance between my face and neck. I do not apply foundation to my entire face- rather just my 'problem areas'- so I needed something that truely matched my skin tone. I had tried many many make-ups throughout my high school years. Most did not match my skin, or made me break out terribly. But that all changed when I found L'Oreal True Match Porcelain foundation. This liquid foundation comes in a small glass bottle. One bottle usually lasts me about 3 to 4 months- using it almost every day. The cap screws on, which I like (other caps snap on or open and can be squeezed out). This one works well for me. I put my finger over the opening, tip it upside down quickly, and then have just enough foundation on my finger to cover my entire face. To apply this foundation I use a brush (yep- a brush for liquid foundation). I've found it gives me more of an airbrushed appearance and the light bristles help blend this make-up flawlessly. The make-up is thick enough to easily cover my blemishes, but thin enough to not feel cakey or heavy on my face. It stays nicely applied throughout the entire day. It doesn't get oily- or even worse dry and crack (I hate when other foundations do that). It works perfectly with my oily skin. And surprisingly, it doesn't make me break out. I'll admit I have a bit of an acne problem, and it's very hard for me to find foundations that don't make it worse. But L'Oreal's liquid make-up has never made me break out. In fact it helps dry my oily skin- which I've noticed has prevented break-outs over time. The shade of this foundation is very light- hence it's "Porcelain" title. I've been told I have 'milky white skin', just to give other's an idea of how truly white this is. Some people have even questioned whether or not I was albino (I am not). But this make-up matches me flawlessly. It blends in easily with my skin and leaves me feeling confident all day long. It covers my blemishes without completely caking my face. It feels airy, not heavy on my skin. And it lasts all day long without any problems. Overall I'm very pleased with this foundation- and I think it will be a part of my cosmetic ruitine for the rest of my life.

I ordered this foundation because Youtuber Angie of “Hot and Flashy” recommended it. I could not be happier! I am a post-menopausal lady from Dallas. This foundation provides a light and moisturizing coverage complete with sunscreen. It goes on smoothly, is easily spread with fingers and stays put for hours. I do use an oil based cream for removal, (sunscreen can sometimes be a challenge to remove) then a second wash with a moisturizing cleanser. My face is clean after that. There is no top dispenser for this liquid foundation, so you do run the risk of bottle contamination. But if your hands are clean when you apply makeup, this issue may be inconsequential.

At first, I believed this product to be a savior. Finally, a foundation as white as I am! I wore it all day with no problems, at least that I noticed. After a couple of months I did begin to notice a problem. Maybe it is just my skin, but this stuff doesn't do a great job of staying on your face. I apply it and it looks flawless for the majority of the day, but a few hours before I am able to get home and take it off it just bubbles on my face and if I touch my cheek with my finger a huge chunk of it will come off. The formula is very thick, so I only use a dab of it over my entire face, which I really liked at first because I know the little tube I got will last a while. However, the thickness has become a problem because it won't stay on my face. It makes my face feel heavy, oily, and caked up. This problem can be fixed a bit with some powder, which was also hard to find because I'm so white haha, but once I found a good powder the caked up feeling and midday chunks that come off on my fingers lessened. That is really the only problem I have with it, however. PROS ------------ -Has a good variety of colors -Affordable -Thick formula forces the little bottle to last a while CONS -------- -Doesn't blend properly into your skin (which is why it cakes up and rubs off so easily after wearing it several hours, can be fixed with powder) Overall, I recommend it. I will probably shop around some more for another, but so far this has been one of the better of my experiments just because of the color.

This is the only product I've found that matches my skin tone and doesn't make me break out a ton, while being pretty low-maintenance. I have very pale combination skin with warm undertones and the W1 shade works surprisingly well (see photo). It offers a decent amount of coverage while managing to look natural, and is especially nice when topped with the True Match powder in the same shade. My skin actually feels greasier when I *don't* wear this foundation, and the powder certainly helps extend the life of it too. I love that it doesn't feel like there's a ton of makeup on my face when I'm wearing it and that it doesn't take a long time to apply. It's by no means a miracle product for curing acne, but after using this product for a couple years, it never seems to exacerbate acne it for me.

This is the classic foundation that is not in stores anymore, and it is the best one! It covers without being heavy and your face will have a dewy look.

Great color and consistency. Not too heavy, not too light. Blends well with my tinted sunscreen. Easy to apply and one bottle lasts a long time. I’ve been using this as a cover up cream for several years now. The stick make up is often too thick and requires too much pressure on the delicate areas around one’s eyes that can lead to more numerous wrinkles as one ages. I find the true match product covers well using a light touch, both with application by brush, applicators (I.e. cottlon or sponge) and if in a real rush by hand. It has staying power and lasts all day. I usually touch it up if going out for evening events.

Now, I LOVE this foundation because it is the only color I've found that matches my skin tone. I bought this in Porcelain and it's just perfect. I've tried everything from drugstore foundations to $50+ foundations and they are all too dark. So I'm happy about that... But I don't care for it once it's applied. I'd really rate it a 2.5 if I could. Generally about halfway through my day, I have to powder my face to keep looking fresh. With this foundation, I find myself powdering my face about every two hours as I start to look oily much faster than usual. Also, after about 4 hours and under bright lights, it looks REALLY cakey. I hate that This foundation is also VERY light coverage, as many others have stated. Liquidy, watery, which isn't terrible as it feels light on your skin. It also wipes off very easy, like I barely touch my face and it rubs off. I'm extremely satisfied with the color but the rest is just like... soooo close, but fails. I'd recommend to girls who have difficulty finding their perfect color.

I'm surprised at how much I like this foundation. I have it in two colors and will use different shade or mix them together depending on the look I want. I have lots of very high end foundations and yet this is comparable and lasts all day. I didn't think I would like this but gave it a try and what a great find this is. It's a fraction of the cost of the higher end foundations but you can't tell the difference. No fragrance that is noticeable which I like a lot. The only difficulty is trying to figure out your shade. (That is why I bought 2). I use a beauty blender for application. Good coverage. Thumbs up on this.

I am one of those who "suffer" from being incredibly pale. I happen to love my complexion, but it never ceases to be commented on by strangers. I have a hard time finding foundations that are light enough for my skin tone until finally a brand came out with a porcelain colour. I originally (and usually) purchased this product at a well known drug store, but when I happened upon it on Amazon, I was happy to see that they had this product for $11 (normally $18 in stores). It gives good coverage while matching my fair skin tone and it isn't oily or heavy. I've been using this foundation for just over a year now and I don't have any plans on switching. A few people have recommended the higher end brands for foundation and have said they have lighter colours as well, but for someone like myself who wears makeup just for work/when going out and it literally gets washed down the drain at the end of the night, I can't justify spending $80 on a bottle. The only complaint I have is that it took about a week or so longer to receive in the mail that it was scheduled for, but that was also around the Christmas rush as well, so I don't imagine it was anyone's fault for it being delayed.
