I am not using the LED function that comes with this speaker. Put this speaker in a 23 ft center console. With the amp it rattles anything near it. Really nice bass for this price.

I have to say we returned this because despite following the installation instructions to the last detail, we assumed it was broken. We then purchased the same one directly from Boss so we wouldn't have any trouble and once again it didn't work. We called Boss techs and they discovered we had a set of installation instructions that haf since been redacted and missed a batch apparently. They walked us through the installation which was totally different than the packaged instructions.The amplifier in the Boss radio we bought didn't have a strong enough amp so we had to purchase their amp. We now have their 4 speakers, the amp, and the subwoofer.THIS SUBWOOFER ROCKS on our pontoon boat!! I would rate it a five if it wasn't for all this frustration, but glad Boss got us through it. We feel badly we had to return the first one not to the seller's fault and gave us no trouble with the refund.

wow!!!a monster. impressed so far. i have a few songs full of low frequency notes that i use to test subs.... this one delivers. i feel like i got the bang for the buck....

Purchased this Due to Depth of sub. ( 1.5" ) shorter - Fits in my Inner side wall of boat. No issues with sound/ bass. For the first few months The LED's worked great Lined up With My JL lighted speakers . JL sub way to deep to fit in my wall. Anyway this does it job if wired right. But after 3 months i stored the boat away for the winter and now that i unwinterized the boat. The Lights do not work and I see corrosion. I have proper voltage to lights. so lets see how they really warranty their speakers BOSS? Less then one year- My review is good for the speaker/Bass You get what you pay for. sounds great Looks good too. they just need work on the LED lighting weatherproofing I think.

Sounds awesome especially for the money and lights look cool

Says open air base, I noticed almost no diffrence all they way up with and without the subwoofer. It needs a box to perform. If your looking for something that does not need a box, save your money, buy something else, you will be very disappointed. In a box I am sure it will work well, there is alot of movement and I really like the led lights, they are made extremely well and bright as hell. I seen nothing else wrong with this item.

LEDs do not work, I confirmed with Boss company that they are missing the led control box
