**Q: What are the features of the heated diode sensor in ILD-100H?**
A: The heated diode sensor detects absolute concentration levels, allowing sustained beeping at leaks and high initial sensitivity. However, it loses sensitivity over time, requires replacement, and shows varied sensitivity to refrigerants.

**Q: How long does the sensor last?**
A: If it seems like your leak detector is no longer picking up leaks or is not as sensitive as it was when you first bought it, try replacing the filter. This should fix the issue. If this does not fix the issue try replacing the sensor.

It works! For the price, I actually expected it to not work or at least not very well, but I used it to locate a leak in my ac coil and it only took a few minutes to detect the leak. With this detector, I was able to get the ac manufacturer to replace the unit.
