My son discovered Ramune at a Japanese Steakhouse and loved the taste and the experience of dropping the marble into the bottle! We found this variety pack for his BDay. He's loved it. The flavors are light and genuine, not overly sweet or artificial. No heavy syrup taste as there's no high fructose corn syrup.

Japanese soda is tasty; got some from a brother stationed there. There's also fruit flavors not sold in US markets.

The bottles must be well made since they arrived safely and intact. I'm not sure if these are a good value or not but, I don't think they're incredibly overpriced. You get an entire experience with these beverages!I bought the variety pack for my son for Christmas, he's really into Japanese anime which then got him interested in different Japanese foods and wanting to explore more of their culture. He loves the way you open these bottles by having to pop the marble down and is so excited to try all of the different flavors that aren't so common here in the USA. So far he has liked EVERY flavor, even though he has always been a very picky kid when it comes to food & drink. Guess when it comes to soda, he's more open to new flavors, lol. Although, he also now eats dried seaweed and cooks his own hokkien and uddon noodles with sesame oil and teriyaki sauce.

These were great for the kids. They tasted great and they loved the whole pushing the marble thing down into neck of bottle. My only issues with this product is you couldn't unscrew the top to keep the marbles which of course the kids will want and it was very pricey. My kids wanted me to buy more but 30.00 is just to much for 8 bottles.

My son and I both enjoy trying other countries snacks and drinks he liked them more then me but still a great mix.

All the bottles arrived intact and there were 8 as listed along with the ginger packets. There were however a few doubles (two original and two lychee) but that was fine. The other flavors were grape, strawberry, orange and peach. Personally I only liked the grape. The rest didn't really taste like anything. But I got exactly what I ordered, it came on time and nothing was broken. The price didn't bother me either. Probably would not buy again but that's just because I don't think I like ramune soda very much. Overall great first time experience for me.

Everything was great the only thing is that one soda came broken and had glass in all the other sodas due to little bit of bubble wrap.
