Very effective
I bought this to Rey’s 15 HP unit and it does the job. My only advice is to have a plumber install it.

... running now for over a year and has done fine for us
This has been installed and running now for over a year and has done fine for us. We chose to go with the 220 option and had no issues. I'm sure with the 110 hook up it would run fine also. The only thing I would like to have seen different is the Moro bracket seems to be a little thin and it will flex easily.

It work well but needs fine tuning
The media could not be loaded. I moved into my new home and I found out that my water pressure can only reach 40psi. The watercompany (Cal Water) said they cannot increase my water pressure anymore. One other house and I in the neighborhood have this problem. So after much scouring of the internet, I come across a "This Old House" Episode on Youtube. And this was the product they had used to increase their water pressure. So I look at the specs and I was going to go with something smaller and more powerful. Mistake, you want the unit as quiet as possible. Once I found out my incoming water line is right under my daughter's bedroom. So I chose this 1/2 HP unit. It turned out to be more than enough power to bring my water pressure from 40psi up to 59 psi. I'll address why 59 psi in a moment. I ordered the part and gave the specs to a plumber and electrician. One plumber turns me down flat. So I find a union shop and they had no problem once looking at the specs (once again California suburbs don't normally have water pressure problems.) So they hooked it up. It needs a 20 amp dedicated line and a switch by the unit. You will NEED that switch. My plumber hooks it up and sets it to the max pressure, then backs it down a little because the unit at max will never shut off, it can't reach the pressure of 75ps where he initially set it. So I come along and start the washer and then it never cycles off. I can feel it overheating at the motor. I flip the switch off (see, you'll need that switch). It stops, and then I turn it back on and start playing with psi settings. On the machine, there is low and high on the machine. It is better to think min/max instead of high/low. I set the minimum to 50 psi and the max of 65psi. Still auto cycles, it can't hold the 65psi and turn off. So then I try to drop it to 59psi max. But it won't go there because the min and max have to be at least 10 psi apart. So then I set the min to 49psi and the max 59psi. Works perfect, shutdowns right after any draw from a faucet or shower. So you have to play with it. And the plumber won't stick around long enough for you to get it just right. Good plumber, but it's kinda a custom job at this point for the owner to take over. I love the pressure but be warned you will be doing some changing of the plumber settings. It really isn't hard. just read the pdf and play with it. Glad to have good water pressure again just be patient with it and adjust as needed. Sound-wise it is 65 db. if it's in a crawl space it's a low hum like a midgrade dishwasher, do a search for Amtrol deluxe install kit, it has a vibration isolation connection and mat that really helps the sound and vibration. Love the water pressure!

Water pressure just like 5-star hotel
Water pressure to my home was at 44 psi, and during peak hours dropped to 40 psi. The low water pressure made taking a shower disappointing. In our bathroom we have a whirlpool, but the low water pressure meant it took 30 minutes to fill up so we hardly used it. Other functions in the house suffered from low water pressure the dishwasher performance was poor, and water softener did not function efficiently. After reading countless reviews I chose the Amtrol RP-10HP pressurizer. The key features I liked was its compact design and product reliability. In my garage the water heater, Big blue water filter system, and GE water softener are in a small closet, and I needed the water booster pump to fit in there as well. The feature I like the most is the onboard diagnostic/protection system called "The Guardian CP" which is a proprietary circuit the company designed to protect the pump motor. The protection system has digital display to aid in programing the differential pressure settings & show 3 error codes to warn you of unsafe pump conditions. If you are comfortable as a Do-It-yourselfer, the Amtrol pressurizer can be installed by the home owner. It is important to build the Bypass loop as Amtrol illustrates in their install manual, I built the loop that I can remove the boost pump to do maintenance when needed. The loop and the Amtrol accurate pressure sensor is great at detecting leaks. I used the pump pressure sensor & the loop to find if the water leak was in or outside my home. Once I fixed the leaks, the RP-10 holds perfect pressure. Like my son exclaimed, "Water pressure just like the 5-star hotel!" I highly recommend this pump to everyone.

Great for those who need increased water pressure!
Although I did not buy this through Amazon, I recommend it to those seeking increased water pressure. I was getting about 38psi from source and wanted to boost it to about 60psi. I installed the HP10 where supply first enters my house and just behind a whole house sediment filter. My unit is located in my basement and unless I am near it I do not know when the pump is running. It was the solution for my needs. I have a 3/4 supply line and a full 3/4 meter. Be sure to check your meter since most utilities use a 3/4 in x 5/8 out Neptune T10 meter. You will also need a 1-1/4 to 3/4 reducer for input, a 1 to 3/4 reducer for output, a pressure relief valve and a check valve. If you have a larger supply line adjust reducers as appropriate.
