The Dual Power Adapter features two USB output ports (one at 1A, the other 2A) to charge your phone, tablet, bike light, gps, or camera etc. at the maximum supported rate, unlike most USB charging ports that will only support 100mA or 500mA modes. It features a fully isolated 15 watt wide ranging DC-DC converter that prevents high voltage from damaging your device even in the event of a catastrophic failure, as well as LED light arrays to show the realtime current draw from each USB channel
