Organic, clean bath and beauty!
I filled three garbage cans with all the expensive bathing body care products I was using after reading this book, I realized most the ingredients that they were using were harmful to my skin and this gave me a definite answer as to why my skin was constantly damaged. My dermatologist gave me this book and I can’t thank him enough. It is simple straight to the point and full of information. The recipes are easily doable. To my great surprise almost all the recipes mentioned I had them in my house and easily accessible saving me a lot of money. I already can see a new radiant glow to my skin. The bathing salts, body butters and body scrubs recipes are my secret to a healthy and youthful skin. A book worth shelving.

Book had a lot of stuff in it, pretty standard recipes. A lot of the recipes have pictures there are a chunk that are miss printed, or missing.

Don’t Judge This Book By It’s Cover
I brought this book to get a complete bath and body recipes, instead I’ve received a very, very basic book for what seems like really small batches. The old wives tale “Never judge a book by its cover” is absolutely the best advise given. I am not here to shoot the author, I give kiddos for trying - but to provide feedback as I was highly disappointed this book does not have COLOR pictures since every recipe has a photograph. I find the black and white images does allow any room for the imagination and if that was the route taken to save money - I would’ve left them out entirely. The beginning of the book give a very basic analysis throughout the introduction which is used to educated anyone learning DIY and this book totally missed opportunity to educate on ingredients, tools, and proper safety. This book also failed to include a list of proper tools needed to make said products, like bowls, bath bomb moles, etc. There are no resource where to purchase out side of the author telling you that you can purchase at a grocery store. As I continued to read each recipe there were issues with grammar and the book isn’t properly formatted. Word missing letters and letters missing words. It would’ve been nice to have a page in the end for resources. Many people who are purchasing this book maybe beginners (like me) and seeking to learn. The author missed the mark to also market herself using the back cover, instead the text is not formatted correctly. If I’d known the pictures where going to be in black and white, I would’ve not purchased this book. Beside those issues the recipes are pretty simple at best.

Sloppy self publishing
Poorly edited, poorly formatted, and scant on information. The photos are good, but the book is in black and white and I suspect the photos are from stock libraries. The volume of unspecified essential oils called for single serve bath salts makes me suspect there is some potential for skin irritation.

Worst. Homemade. Publishing.
Multiple PARTIAL black and white photos, like the pic I posted. No publisher listed. Kinko's midnight special that wasn't even proofed. Rip-off.

Don't buy it
Book is poorly put together, and badly formatted. The writing is amateurish. The author uses large photos and large print to bulk up the page count. Not worth the money.

A book worth reading
I bought this book out of curiosity. But when I went through it, it is worth reading. I recommend everyone to get one.
