Butter Gloss, Non-Sticky Lip Gloss - Angel Food Cake (True Mauve)

This is a really great little lip gloss! It is the perfect size for a small purse or clutch. It does not have any stickiness at all! I love the glitter look to it. It has a really nice creamy texture and does not seem to smudge at all. The color accuracy on the Amazon website was perfect. It lasts a good amount of time and it’s quite shiny! I’ve gotten many compliments on it so far.

I really love the NYX Professional Makeup Butter Gloss in Brown Sugar/Butterscotch because it gives a beautiful natural shine without feeling sticky at all. The texture is smooth, lightweight, and very comfortable on the lips, making it perfect for everyday wear. The color is a soft neutral brown that enhances the lips in a subtle but flattering way, whether worn alone or over lip liner. It keeps the lips looking hydrated and glossy without being heavy or greasy. Overall, it’s an easy go-to lip gloss that looks pretty, feels comfortable, and works for any occasion.

This is my absolute favorite lip product currently. Smooth, not sticky, smells amazing, and the color! I cannot take my eyes off myself with this lip gloss on. It makes my eyes look so green. I attached photos in a few different lighting settings. I have fair-to-light skin with some rosiness of the cheeks and a cool undertone. Don't be fooled by the picture on the listing. Salty coco is NOT a nude for me as you can see. It's a greyish purple in the tube and shows up reddish purple on the lips. It transfers very easily like all lip glosses. However if I don't eat or drink it lasts as long a couple hours. If this is your first NYX butter gloss, be aware that it spreads on a bit thick (like butter from the fridge) but give it a few minutes and it melts into the absolute smoothest, most moisturizing shine! Full coverage, this is not sheer at all on me. I guess if you wanted it to be sheer you could try spreading some on the back of your hand and transferring to the lips.

This is such a pretty shade for everyday wear. It has a nice peachy nude tone that looks natural but still adds a bit of color. The coverage is light to medium, more of a sheer gloss that enhances your natural lip color rather than fully covering it. The formula feels smooth and not sticky, which makes it really comfortable to wear. That said, it doesn’t last very long and comes off easily, especially when eating or drinking, so you do have to reapply throughout the day. Overall, it’s great for a quick, glossy look, just not something that’s going to stay on for hours.

After reading reviews I was hesitant about a couple reviews saying this lip gloss is sticky. It is NOT! I don't know why they said that. This lip gloss is smooth, very buttery smooth. Its soft & smooth going on & lasts hours. I found it dries quickly but soft & smooth to enough to smack your lips without it wearing off too quickly. It doesnt smudge either. Im extremely happy with this brand & im ordering more at this fantastic price ($3.98). I love the color. I ordered Salty Coco which is a very pretty shade of soft medium mauve & very complimentary. Im excited to find this great gloss & even more excited at the great deal offered.

Such a beautiful color! I mix it with other lipgloss but even on it’s own it’s shine, smell, and moisture it gives me is everything and more! If you’re looking for a good gloss for your lip combo I would recommended this one!

I really like the color of this butter gloss — it’s flattering and looks especially nice on lighter skin tones. It gives a pretty pop of color while also adding a shiny, glossy finish. The gloss glides on easily and feels smooth when first applied, and it’s definitely buildable if you want a bit more color payoff. That said, the biggest downside for me is how sticky it is. And I mean very sticky. If you get it on your hands, it sticks to everything, which can be pretty aggravating. That stickiness also makes it less comfortable to wear for long periods, especially if your hair touches your lips. Despite that, the gloss does what it’s supposed to do — it adds shine and color, and it looks great once on. I just wish the formula were less tacky, because otherwise it would be a favorite. Overall: beautiful color and shine, easy to apply, but the heavy stickiness holds it back. If you don’t mind a very sticky gloss, you’ll probably enjoy this one.

Love it! But works better as a lipstain. Putting too much ruins the consistency (it gets uneven? Even on chocolate skin) but as a stainer and moisture is really good! I'd purchase again!
