I looked through the reviews before buying this book for my son. All of them were great so I did not hesitate too much.I have to say that there are number of issues. First, the package says that there 12 pages in the book. Well, two of them are not part of the book ( some kind of cover) and there are only 4 actual pages to color. Second, it seems there are much better deals from Melissa and Doug for 4 reusable pages books. I have to say that I do not have M&D books to make a quality comparison.Rather than that, the book is good and my son had fun with it.

Bought this for grandchildren (two year old twins and their three year old sister) as a daily deal so could only get one. They loved it so much I had to buy additional similar books so sharing was such an "issue". It has held up nicely and allowed many blissful minutes of constructive quiet time on a daily basis. My only gripe is keeping track of the pen; it tends to get misplaced a lot despite our best efforts and vigilance at having the girls put them up. The pen is relatively small and tends to roll off, seemingly on its own at times! I will be fixing the pens to the books with a short piece of yarn. But the pages are thick, they dry fairly quickly, and they've been "colored" with water many times; very little wear is showing on the surface of the pages. I wish we had these when we were flying to a few years ago with a young niece and nephew.

I purchased this for my son's 3rd birthday. Ironically, my sister purchased the Melissa and Doug equivalent. The pages are almost exactly the same! The only difference is the pen - the pen in the Techege seems slightly more durable for my son who presses down hard whereas the Melissa and Doug pen tip is softer like a paintbrush; the Techege might hold slightly more water. For the price, though, I'd purchase the Melissa and Doug if I did it again

So it only has 4 pages and it is made out of cardboard... It is has a water based design and they chose cardboard as a medium? We've had it for 1 day and the pages are already warped. It is a great idea and it would work and be worth twice as much if it had more than 4 pages and lasted longer than a week.

This is not 12 pages as listed. This is the exact same as the melissa and doug water wow product that is sold, the pages are the same and there are only 4 of them to color. The melissa and doug product is less than half of the price if this product. It's a great concept but save your money and buy the melissa and doug water wow instead.

The water pen leaks like crazy and the pages get way too wet. Don't waste your money on this brand. The Melissa and Doug version is far better quality and price.

So great! Grandson enjoys each time he visits his Nanna!!!! Love that you only need WATER to make the pen work! Also fantastic that the pages can be reused again, once they dry! I've purchased all the other paint with water pen books, too!!

I love that this is reusable. I only wish it had more than 4 pages to color for this price. I will definitely order more though. Great concept for toddlers. My two boys both enjoy it.
